I'll do some changes and fix the sprites, I didn't expect this to be so popular so I apologize if it didn't meet some people's standards but I'll do what I can to make him the best I can do!

Adorable af. However, the side view sprites bother me enough not to use this. They're just mirrored versions of each other. Because Ash isn't a symmetrical character, this is sort of... odd. If Cain can have the correct sprites, I know Ash can as well.

I've also got some issues with his starting stats and items, but that's more me nit-picking over wanting him more faithful to his abilities in TEIN. I'd personally prefer half a heart (or at least no more than one full heart), higher speed, no trinket (or cancer instead), no bombs. Basically starting as a speedy Lost. Because everything in TEIN kills in one hit anyway.

To be honest, I was imagining him more as a reskin of Gish.

I have the exatcly same problem! I'm trying to create a custom character but I want to make him look the same, without any item costumes, so I perfectly understand your inner pain! If I discover something I'll let you know ;) Anyway, at this current state is perfect! Great job :D

I wanted Ball of Tar but that item really changes the apprence right from the start.
But I will fix the name and stats by tonight, along with giving him the book

Great mod! The updated sprite are very well done! You know what really really really fits in the character? Jump! Give him che jump-book-thingy, so that he can do what Ash do best, jumping :D

Some minor adjustments:
-the name Ash in character selection screen is a little off centered! Can you please move it a bit on the right? (or it's just my OCD?)
-I personally find more fitting Ball of tar then Little gish, but this are just all my preferences ;)

As I learn more I will add the suggestions you guys said, thanks!

Maybe his missing eye should act as Cain, but on the other side.
Also as an idea you can make him faster and smaller but with less health (2 Black Hearts), giving him How To Jump and Cursed Skull to make him harder like he is in TEIN.

It seems too thin and off looking compared to Ash right now.

extra ideas:
he should srart with the catdige as a trinket
he should have black goopy tears that have a chance of creating tumors and slow ennemies
his active item should be some kind of ''best friend'' reskin
he should leave black creep
flies and spiders should be replaced by tumors
