i have an interesting way to make it so you can see it from far away. make an atmosphere layer a few meters below sea level and give the layer of atmosphere the texture of earth so when you go far the atmosphere takes the place of the voxels.

If you want change the height, you need to edit Max in Min in same times proportional, else, biome can be broken.

Thanks but I was looking to get rid of that plane or drop its height. It still remains wether i change the material or remove the defintion. This is hard. I dont want to do this anymore.

@|Scp|
Open PlanetEarth.sbc or/and PlanetNSEarth.sbc (with Notepad++), go to the line 135, you will see the group <MaterialGroup Name="Water" Value="82">, so, you need to change <Layer Material="Ice_02" Depth="20"/> and <Layer Material="Ice_03" Depth="20"/> with sand or stone.
I hope I help you.
After for configurate the water mod, I don't know.

@Quarior Any tips on removing the planet wide ice ocean?
Im almost there
Quarior  [author] 7 Apr, 2019 @ 3:04am
Ah yes I understand, is because me I use all heightmap but for Lorraine ocean are flat.
Good luck for configuration.
Scopsins 6 Apr, 2019 @ 5:20pm
Thank You. Lorraines planet deosn't work well with water so this is a god send. If I post it publicly I will not forget to credit both of you.

@|Scp|, do you talk about where you locate the mod content ? I post the content of the mod on Google Drive [drive.google.com].
Else, the mat texture is come from the mod Terra made by Duke of Lorraine and heightmap from PBC (link in description).
Don't forget to put the link to this mod and also original thanks.

Is it possible that you could provide the source files for this planet. It works very well with the water mod and I would llike to make some adaptations for gameplay.
Quarior  [author] 2 Dec, 2018 @ 8:12am
Or use this world .
Novum33 1 Dec, 2018 @ 10:47am
or can you can just make a world for me instead of me doing all that stuff
Quarior  [author] 1 Dec, 2018 @ 6:20am
You need to use the old Dedicaced Server with edit Scenarios or with the mod Procedural World and config to spawn this planet, after, you can remove the mod, the planet spawned is always in the world.

Thanks mate! :steamhappy:

Maybe be less "encrypted" next time. Just a soft little thought.
Quarior  [author] 5 Aug, 2017 @ 4:06am
NS is the version no scale of the Earth (so heightmap and atmosphere is multiplicate by 10 by the realist Earth) so NS is No Scale.
737✈Garrus 5 Aug, 2017 @ 3:40am
@Quarior=

What do you mean by "NS" in NS Earth?
Quarior  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 8:19am
@Darian Stephens, I add a alternative version where the scale is multiplicate by 10 so the clouds there aren't the problem you descripte in waiting Space Engineers can place planets with the real diameter. It is NS Earth (Solar System).
Quarior  [author] 18 Jul, 2017 @ 2:32pm
Because clouds are very close to the surface if I respect the scale of the Earth (0.0094) and on the surface, I don't know why clouds doesn't show on the surface but Space Engineers don't like clouds above the surface I think.
Darian Stephens 18 Jul, 2017 @ 12:58pm
Something that's putting me off is the fact that the planet appears to have some circle disease.
Seriously, why are there circles in the preview image? It's like circular parts of the world are sticking up above the clouds.
