Man, I loved this mod. Doesnt seem to work anymore in servers though. Maybe the mod dev will come back one day?

shoulda been made into a separate aditional weapon for the game. I cant believe this game already so aged still hasn't any weapons mod to it

the alternate attack (right click) is broken but the model is cool, please update.
I dont mind if this mod only affects first person view.

As much as I love the design, it crashes the game for me. I believe the error is connected to the most recent update. Please fix it if possible.

Ice its a btifull weapon, i love it :), i would like to ask if its possible that you implant the rifle of ns1 ? like the classic server for all ? because i'm a beta tester of the faded mod and we would like to take this weapon for the rifle :).

@ Ice. I found the problem when i was playing combat. Not sure if that has to do anything with it. But the texture that is missing is the counter itself. Everything else works fine.

Can you be more specific? The counter itself isn't working, the magazine? What part? I haven't been able to reproduce this, but fear not, something better is on the way anyway...

For some reason your mod doesn't seem compatible with either gunslinger skin. :( Otherwise I like it though. Its hard to explain what the issue is with those skins though, sometimes your SMG shows up colored/uncolored, sometimes it's the normal rifle colored/uncolored. Very cool when it works, I guess? XD

Awsome model and animation, however sometimes the rifle gets stuck tilting awkardly to the right, which is resovled by swaping to an other weapon and then back again, is this a kown issue?

Yes, I refer to as an SMG in the youtube clip, among other locations, it's an edit of the LMG (the NS1 term) into an SMG. Regardless, recent public updates to NS2 seem to have resolved all the glitches involved, yay for UWE fixing the things causing problems for me. Meanwhile, back at the legion of doom, I'm close to releasing a classic throwback to the knife from NS1 to replace the Axe! Stay tuned.

For the second video, the player buy a completely new weapon with the very fine skin of EVIL_ICE, come from the Evolution mod (only in alpha at the moment, not yet published) the first release of the mod was around Christmas and add more Marines Weapons, some marines armor, and new Kharaas lifeform.

I have noticed that the ammo count tends to flicker between values, but I'm not sure if it's a problem with this mod or another.

Ego, not sure I understand, the animations are independent among view models. You can replace any single model without having any affect on the other ones, so if you only mean making an updated version of the NS1 LMG that's not too complicated, outside of remodelling and retexturing the whole thing, and reimagining alot of the detail bits!

To clarify, I'm not referring to it as an LMG, in NS1 the default rifle was known as the light machine gun, to contradict the heavy machine gun. This is the LMG is in NS2, this is a compact version of the LMG, which I even refer to as an SMG in a few places ;D
Gonna try to get in a few hours on the "hand-cannon" replacement today...
