Same as with the hats mod: An update would be much appreciated, as this is (sadly) the final version of the game. This mod is even more important for a good expirience though. Still think armor equipment should be part of the main game

There will not be any chestpieces until equipment skinning is a thing.

Would lighter chestpieces rigged solely to an upper chest bone be an idea? IE, a chestplate covering just the ribcage/centre mass?

@Skallabjorn The 0.5 version of this mod is utilizing systems that are not reliable in multiplayer, hence I am waiting until 0.6 has whitelisted some of the new damage-handling systems.

not really, we can add the model, but since the game does not support equipment skinning at this point, it would not 'adapt' to character's movement and animations.

Jirout.VojtaCZ, you just right-click them in your inventory, like any other item in the inventory. There is also a tooltip that tells you that.

The damage reduction update doesn't seem to have changed anything. If I hit someone with a sword, who wears no armor, he takes 24 damage. If he wears a helmet and I hit him on his head he also takes 24 damage. Only blocking with a weapon negates any damage from up front.

The clipping through player face is sadly something the mod cannot control or influence. The clipping through the helmet stand is issue with the bone placement and will be resolved in the next version of the mod (for which we still need to finish some model, obviously).

The faceguard on the pot helm clips through the helmet stand when displayed, and occasionally through the player's face when worn during actions eg. attacking with a sword. Otherwise enjoying the variety this adds, and the models fit in very nicely!

@peaceman - the problem with that line of thinking is there becomes a million and one "equipment" definitions - the Framework is designed to stablize things a bit. The Idea behind frameworks is in fact that they /will/ be depended upon by other mods because they tend to get along with other mod author's - it's not about ease of use - it's about ease of creation; to use them is simple enough - simply add the other mod in - no big deal.

Why don't you just add the change of the extended equipment mod to the game, it only changes a single definition. Depending on a different mod is a bad idea
