Ya they should be 1000 times better and 1000 times free'r as well.

For me, the paper background images are horrendously small and upscaling them doesn't help reduce the tiling effect enough. The wall/line options are not very well optimised size wise either.

this mod is AWESOME .. thank you much for your work. And please send greetings to the artist who drawed this. I am an old school RPG-Master (playing still D&D 1st edition) and I ever loved such parchment style drawings.

it could be that i am not 100% with the program yet but is there a way to make the object not transparent? i do not want to see the castle wall object under the castle circle tower.

Besides the mod needing resized things... What kinda area types are needed? Looking for open suggestions.

The artist for this is gogots if you search online, he has a pintrest where he links the images. The folders are all in french, but I've been using it in Photoshop with lots of success so far.

Hey guys, the one pictures was his stock parchment but did not work with the program it left a weird border. The ones I found are royalty free ones that worked with the program. Try searching online for ones that import well, just avoided some cause copy right policies so the mod can stay up forever.

Hey! How can I make the parchment style look as is in the screenshot? When I put it on the grid it just has a set box in which the texture repeats but I was hoping for the more random and natural look you got. How can I do that?

@darkdindon yes, they were not made specifically for DPS orginally and only came in 1 version from the artist.

Is it normal that some elements are very small and other are big ?
The graphics look amazing but some elements are pixelated on higher resolution :/

I looooove this mod! They all look so perfect for a map! I do have one question though are there any images to represent large cities or mountains? Things for a continent rather than just smaller maps?

VinceMario, Terse - Thanks. I also found the solution in the Steam forums. It appears to be a Steam issue where it doesn't give full permissions sometime. So you have to close Steam, restart the computer then delete the folder the issue is with before opening Steam. That'll cause the program to redownload the file the next time it's opened and it'll download function correctly. The only permenant fix seems to be not to install Steam in the C:\Programs folder.

Yalc - I've hit that error before. This https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udw87weRHZo video walked me through the solution using Lockhunter that might work for you as well.

@Yalc sorry I'm not sure what could have caused that. As far as my files being where they are always ( I don't mess with them. ) I have not changed anything. There is only 2 buttons I click when I upload them, and I add the pictures through the client every time. Maybe ask the forums?

I uninstalled to try and see if redownloading would help and now I can't download because I keep getting a "Missing Permissions" error. Anyone know if that's an error on my end or what?

Weird. I'm having an issue where I downloaded your updated file but whenever I click the update button in the mods sub-window nothing happens.

Some of the items have dropped out of the collection, such as the papyrus styled floor,roofs and many more. And I get a a message saying that Info.json is missing from PaperStyle collection. Any one else whom have this problem?

The best way to get any thing done is to say you love the artists work with the link provided above. Drop a suggestion on what kinda things would be cool to see in the future nicely and he may consider it. If you are an artist draw something up and I'll add credit to you in the description.

Seconding the comment about roads. Maybe we could get some more standard paths? Regular old straight cobblestone roads would be a godsend.
