now someone needs to add Alec's coat as a cosmetic item!

Like I previewed a few and a lot of them were talking about miners (so no good), shouting at Mason specifically (naming him, so no good), over a loudspeaker system (also no good), and so on.

Eh. I can take a look, but a lot of them are shouting at Mason, or searching for him. I'm not sure they'll have enough to make a decent VP.

We could use some EDF voice lines.

What about them?

EDF?

Welp. :conwayfacepalm:

I mean, I don't blame you- it's logical enough to assume that it would appear at the bottom of any given list being the newest installation.

No harm done at least; I didn't end up wasting any serious amount of time on debugging.

I feel like a goddamn moron. It IS on the list, right below all the vanilla voice packs. I'm so used to new VP's being at the bottom of the list that it never crossed my mind that recently released voice packs would be higher in the list than the older ones. I think the fact it's at the bottom of your list in the preview video, under the Titanfall Grunt VPs (Which I also have), might have been another contributing factor as to why I never looked higher.

I reiterate; sorry to have wasted your time on this.

Nothing changes, sadly.

I honestly have no idea what's going on. Steam's workshop can be very fickle sometimes. :conwayheadscratch:

What happens if you unsub from, or at least disable, Fenix?
Turagon36 21 Jul, 2017 @ 2:41pm
Well, it doesn't seem to be due to a limit. I unsubscribed from a few voice packs I no longer use, and it still didn't show up. Since the Adam Fenix VP was the last one that actually showed up in game for me, I subscribed to every other voice pack released after that one. They all showed up in the checklist, but would not show up in game. I subscribed to an older voice pack however, and that one did show up as an available voice. The Launch log did show that the mod was there;

[0011.77] Log: Checking DLC installation for C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1082985709 ...
[0011.77] Log: IS INSTALLED : YES

But I wasn't able to spot any error messages related to the Voice Packs. So, I have no clue what the problem is or what to do about it.

It's fine. How many voicepacks do you actually have? It might be that there's some weird limitation to how many the game can load or display, or one of the other ones you have is breaking the menu somehow.

I'd check the launch log files in /My Documents/My Games/XCOM2/XComGame/Logs/Launch.log - if there's anything going awry, it might show up there?

Yeah. Damnit. It looks like it is actually my end. Downloaded another voice pack and I'm having the same issue with that one now. The issue only seems to be with the Voice Pack's though, not with any of my other recently downloaded mods, which is weird. Sorry to waste your time.
Killian  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 1:19pm
Everything works fine on my end, and it sounds like it downloaded fine - are you sure it loaded properly ingame? Make sure you select 'Save' under the File Menu in the AML after editing your config - I don't think it's strictly necessary but it doesn't hurt to check.

So far you're the only person reporting this issue, so I suspect the issue is somewhere on your end.
Turagon36 21 Jul, 2017 @ 1:07pm
I compared it to a couple other voice packs I have. The files look about identical, so if the issue lies there, I unfortunately can't see it. Though I'm only able to actually look inside the config file, so perhaps a potential issue lies in the Localization and/or Content files.

Not a damn clue. One thing you can try doing is checking the physical folder - since you're using the AML, right click on the name and select "Show in Explorer".

For some odd reason, this voice pack is showing up on the launcher's mod list, but isn't appearing in game. Unsubing and resubing didn't seem to work, and according to the alt mod launcher it's not conflicting with anything (It's a voice pack, so it shouldn't, but doesn't hurt to check). Any idea what the issue could be?
