Oh. I see what you mean. Yes. There are two Tony Halme's in the collection, one from FPZ and one from Six Man Scramble. Tony Halme is Ludvig Borga, if you don't know.

What I did in my personal game is rename the 6MS Tony Halme to Ludvig Borga because it's kind of his wrestling persona that they used for that character. His FPZ character is Tony Halme from his boxing career.

I should have renamed the 6MS Tony Halme to Ludvig Borga in this collection too but I just didn't realise it and it's so late now. People can change the name if they want in their game.

No, they weren't split in face/heel groups in previous games. You just have to try with Wikipedia, I guess. Some of them are obvious

Thanks so much for making this, I'm just getting FPWW and haven't played since 6MS, so this is exactly what I was looking for.

Did any of the older games break characters up by face/heel like FPWW does? It seems handy for outside interference but I don't know much about all these Japanese wrestlers so no idea how to lump them together. If there were split up in the previous games I'd love to know what category they were in so I can organize this better

They're in the "retired" section. Go to edit, transfer wrestler, and then move the character to whatever federation you want. It's been a long time since I've played the game but it's something like that.

Understood, but one more thing. The wrestlers you made aren't showing up in my game. Is there anything specific I gotta do after subscribing to them?

As much as I enjoy downloading edits that are "real life" accurate, I get nostalgic for the look and feel of the wrestlers as they were in FPD and FPR. I haven't. I don't know what they would be for the Japanese only games. And when I got a Fire Pro game, I always renamed them to their real names anyway. I think everyone did. So I don't have any nostalgia for Axe Duggan or whoever.

Heads up, pwny! The "Free" opponents from FPA Audience Mode have been dumped. Potential new roster members include Tom Magee (I'm pretty much 100% certain it's him), kickboxer Lucia Rijker, Ganbare Goemon (It's a guess, but I'd like to see what you think), a polar bear, Inoki as White Mask, Baba as Giant Mask, versions of some FFPW/FPA2 edits (Oyama, R. Tamura, Tachihikari, Norris, Goodridge, Coleman, etc), Mike Tyson in Fire Pro instead of KOC with the most padded edit point totals ever and two edits I have honestly no clue who they might be. One of those blink and you'll miss it deal. The forum thread discussing this is also lost because it was on Fire Pro Club, and the threads of that weren't dumped.

Spike did a contest and the winner got a memory card with official edits on it. On top of the DDT guys, there were also the Dudleys and the Sandman. That's the long and short of it. The winner formula'd the edits back then. I frankly have no idea if those are even online anymore.

I never heard of any FPR DLC. If you can send me info on them and they look legit, I'll add them.

Thanks for the comments. I'm working backwards from Michinoku at the moment. So then it will be Zero-One, Noah, All Japan, and New Japan. Then the fictional characters from SFPW. Then, I don't know, see if I missed anyone. Correct some of the older edits. Maybe try King of Colloseum.

Hate to double post, but are you planning on doing the FPR DLC guys like Daichi Kakimoto, Futoshi Miya, MAZADA and PSYCHO? I know Phil has them made, but I'd like to see a definitive list of who you're NOT porting over so I can grab his. Thanks!

I absolutely love this collection! I recently began a project to convert my game into the ultimate canon roster. Your collection is the only one I have used. Can't wait to see guys like Tenzan, Kojima, Inoki, Kobashi, Mutoh and Tanahashi. Keep up the great work!

Pwmy, I've ported all of these FPZ Story Mode guys already and, IMO, those are not the only interesting ones. The younger versions of Chono, Misawa, Hashimoto, Mutoh, Koshinaka, Sakuraba & Onita are all pretty interesting to have in this kind of set also. But this is your project, so you do what you want, here. Great work as always, you are the absolute BEST at making 1:1 ports of canon edits, you take NO liberties whatsoever, you just port them exactly as they were and that's awesome.

That's interesting. I think the only unique, real edits are Kuniaki Kobayashi, Masashi Aoyagi, Yuko Miyato, Chavo Guerrero Sr, Kimo, Steve Nelson, and Vernon White. So that should be doable.

And Rick Rude might be a better version than the one from the GBA game that I used.

This collection has been a godsend to me, and it's not even complete yet! (I think) I have a save for FPZ made by Jason Blackhart that has all the CPU controlled wrestlers from the various story modes (Rude/Flair/Steiners/Chavo Sr., etc.) Have you heard of this?

Thanks. Everything will get done. I just have two more FPG guys left, then maybe I'll do Chris Doleman from SFPWX, and then that's it for the non-FPR guys. And FPR characters are really easy to do so I can crank out 10 a day. I also have to do the fictional characters from SFPWX but I'll leave that until the end.

After I finish these two FPG guys, I think I'm going to go through all of the edits and make corrections. There's just a few minor changes that I have to do like delete the nicknames, adjust the colours, correct birthdates, switch the name order, stuff like that. The older edits have the most problems.

Heroine-Syndrome undoubtedly changed things. He changes moves and literally every single section in the logic is changed. That's cool, maybe he's making improvements for the better, but it's dishonest to call these ports. Very few people are going to compare the edits to the actual game so they won't know. Most people probably wouldn't care but I care which is why I do all of these myself.

If you're still taking requests, there's a few FPZ/FPR guys that I don't recall seeing ports for yet.
