you give me a big boost for my map modification project for my military RP server: Liberation Normandy 1944
If that's the case, than I'm not surprised, since my maps are more designed for a small scaled PvP / PvE gameplay.
You can use my map, but keep in-mind that props linked in the description aren't mine, plus when converting the .bsp file to .vmf some textures may get messed up, so check if they align correctly.
Good luck on your project / server
Best of luck to you, maybe you can make wanders with it. But remember, its not Frostbite engine, Cryengine or even Unity engine you woun't be making huge open areas with it like you would like.
So to have an idea is not enough, you need to have experience, time, patience and tools to work with. Now I do have the experience (kinda) and time, but I certainly don't have the patience or actually good enough tools to make large optimized maps.
@ RezaNova - Thank you.
I did that, and it is ugly af when you tone down the bloom. Again, not sure how you can fix thatt.
@BrandFlip - You might be using a weird addon since the map spawns are fine and shouldn't kill you or even damage your health points. I would suggest checking your addon list and try disabling some.
