Seems to have broken. Getting the notifications, but no sign of the Palace screen.

OMG, how I love this mod :steamhappy:
cloudburn 27 Dec, 2019 @ 8:11am
even after disabling all my mods and trying it again it still doesn't work do I need the whoward UI mod for it?
cloudburn 24 Dec, 2019 @ 8:01am
Civ 3's palace system was cool, but there were no throne room enhancements like in this mod. If maybe the palace outside stuff could be updated with the civ 3 ones...

@flumoxxed Mods often don't download right for Civ V. If you delete your Civ5ModsDatabase.db file in my games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache\ it should work.
Yoda Nobunaga 19 Sep, 2018 @ 12:00am
Is there a version where you can have Civ III's palace instead?
Dexter 4 Apr, 2018 @ 10:48am
pls make this mod for Civ 6 too :3
Flávio T. 27 Aug, 2017 @ 12:17pm
Ele não está funcionando, por que será?
Banditoxo93 30 Jan, 2017 @ 7:10am
It doesn't appear in the mod list at all for me. Why is this? I have subscribed.
TwidgetX13 23 Jan, 2017 @ 10:57pm
I 'membah...
Oma Sophie 11 Nov, 2016 @ 8:49am
Looks great. Can you add an option to customise the Civ III palace instead?

Two issue with the mod:
1. There is a long delay between clicking on slot to upgrade and upgrade finishing (with Ding sound effect).
2. Oftentimes, I got 2 upgrade points per event, which led me to full completion of palace and throne room with 10 spare upgrades left by the end of the game.

best mod for civ 5 :steamhappy:
Umbrail 25 May, 2016 @ 1:52pm
Lol I remeber this.
Cynther 26 Mar, 2016 @ 7:08am
The cultural backgrounds were not available for me, playing Korea. It just jused the generic ones.
Griegerlocke 23 Mar, 2016 @ 9:29pm
Endlich wieder da. Macht Spaß und funktioniert ohne Probleme:steamhappy:

Odds are as follows:

Era changes: 100%
Golden Ages: 75%
Wonders: 60%
Policies: 35%

@Hu Flung Dung Thanks. I suspect the mod owner can tell us the exact conditions.
TJ 19 Feb, 2016 @ 11:41pm
So great, I really missed these from Civ I & II. Great job.
Hu Flung Dung 19 Feb, 2016 @ 8:01am
@Cynther, it seems to be based on progress. I've noticed that it will fire when a wonder is built, a tech discoverd or advance to a new age.
Cynther 18 Feb, 2016 @ 10:36am
When does the build event fire? Is it purely random or can you influence the chance?
CdnJaybird 10 Feb, 2016 @ 2:38pm
I notice when I click to add a new item to either the palace or throne room my game will freeze for 1-3 seconds before anything changes. Any chance on a fix for this? Minor but annoying bug

Cool! :grinningpolice:
Knopfdruckoffizier 30 Jan, 2016 @ 8:37am
haha, so nice!
Jojy 28 Jan, 2016 @ 7:25pm
@Tropican555 Beyond Earth wasn't good either. It's a reskinned Civ V with even less features, worse balance, AI that cheats even more, and completely lifeless civilizations that can't have personality injected into them due to the game's random nature with affinities. Alpha Centauri is the only true good spinoff this series has ever had.
CrazyCrux 22 Jan, 2016 @ 5:56am
civ ii was by far my favorite game of all time!
Doofus 31 Dec, 2015 @ 5:24am
Nice mod! I love Civ I and Civ II, and their palace and throne room screens added a layer of accomplishment to the game. I don't know why they were removed, but thank you for bringing them back!
Doofus 31 Dec, 2015 @ 5:23am
@Janef0421
Don't play games on your dad's lap, that's just creepy.
Tropican 28 Oct, 2015 @ 3:45pm
@PieWhale227, you are wrong

ALL OF THEM WERE GOOD

Except the spinoffs, But Alpha Centauri and Beyond Earth are good spinoffs
anandus 21 Sep, 2015 @ 7:11am
This is so cool!
Janef0421 30 Jul, 2015 @ 10:40pm
Ah, I remember this from when I played civ 2 on my dad's lap. Awesome.
Mase 24 Jul, 2015 @ 9:07pm
any chance you can use civ 3 palaces?
Eps12 10 Jul, 2015 @ 12:01am
aah, civ II, brilliant game
nice mod
brings back so many memories
Siphonophore 6 Jun, 2015 @ 8:19pm
I've played every Civ game

The only good ones: II and V
King Sperg 6 Mar, 2015 @ 6:42am
What is the name of the statue in the fourth picture carrying the giant stone? Is that a reinterpreation of the statue of Atlas?
JEELEN 3 Mar, 2015 @ 11:40am
@Kaboom This a graphics addition, it doesn't actually do anything in-game.
Bartheus 28 Feb, 2015 @ 9:35am
Ah! Finally my nostalgia trip is successfull. Thank you!
𒐪𒐪𒐪𒐪𒐪𒐪𒐪𒐪 25 Feb, 2015 @ 9:26am
Oh the nostalgia :D
I've played the hell out of Civ2!
Kaboom 10 Feb, 2015 @ 12:55pm
I remember the palace back in the day. But maybe you can allow a spy to steal items from the palace, or throne room?
BardzBeast 12 Jan, 2015 @ 10:17am
surely it would be better to implement the throne room from Civ 3?
david.breitenstein 10 Jan, 2015 @ 5:27am
thehe... cool ^^
i remember the Palace from Civ III .. i always loved this feauture :)
Wolf One 9 Jan, 2015 @ 1:21pm
can you make diffrent versions for modpacks (for example CCTP Community Call To Power) because modpacks contain more wonders where you get a upgrade.. you are finished very fast.
and for example of new content: palace garden, -observatory, -dinning room, -living room and a whole lot more. ( and what also would be nice is retexture of the palace view)
but dont ask me for artist or coder.. etc. because i'm bad at it

Giggleface67 16 Dec, 2014 @ 7:08pm
I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT THIS!!!! Gahhhhhhhhhhhh.... thank you so much!
Wolf One 10 Dec, 2014 @ 8:36am
ehm i dont want to bother but why dot you try to remake the castle view with the same graphics as the throne room, because the throne room looks newer, as iff it was added by you,
But it is still a very nice and contect adding mod
Yamu Riamu 6 Dec, 2014 @ 1:52pm
civ III had it too
