I got the apocalypse spell mod just to have it storm constantly, the heavy rainfall and thunder is amazing
KAL 30 Nov, 2020 @ 10:28am
I love the heavier weather, I'm looking to make Skryim feel super foggy and dangerous, and this helps with immersion.

My biggest complaint is that I really think this needs to come with a new sound pack to match the severity of the storms.

Howling wind, whirling raindrops, heavy fast paced water splashing, deep rumbling, occasional thunder, etc.

my eyes, they burn
Nielz 18 Jul, 2016 @ 4:36pm
The rain passes through the roof :caster_mad:
Icecream 5 Jun, 2016 @ 2:23pm
I do not quite understand how to install the mod, I can only install manualmiente but every time I open the game it error.
Mock! 21 Nov, 2015 @ 9:00am
dont like this mod for various reasons: now any tiny shower is a heavy rainstorm, it rains through roofs, like then you are standing on a proch in riftwood it would still rain around you, which is contraproductive to the immersion it tries to deliver. the sounds also dont fit anymore.

"its time to say 'i cant see shit' during snow storms.."

I can't really tell how good this is compared to others based on your video cause it only goes up to 360p.
ClickSentinel 19 Jul, 2015 @ 8:57am
Mod doesn't seem to work.
pnoble69 30 May, 2015 @ 5:04pm

yrmama 18 Mar, 2015 @ 5:12am
The Shout still works
yrmama 16 Mar, 2015 @ 9:00pm
I LIKE THIS !!
Deerlobe 3 Feb, 2015 @ 5:37pm
pretty cool, the only problem is the rain sounds, dont match the pace of the rain falling down
DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD (-: 27 Sep, 2014 @ 10:14pm
it would be great if npc's have reduce line of sight and other effects experienced because of this mod if possiple, and if that is'nt the case already. great mod! :D
CountDralor 10 Aug, 2014 @ 10:57am
As far as I know this mod doesn't work, at least for me. I assume the mod is supposed to modify the storms in the game? The snow storm near Bleak Falls Barrow has not changed, it's the same.
Plain ol' Denied 7 Aug, 2014 @ 6:40pm
Does the Shout that clears the weather up work on these?
ApparitioN 29 Jun, 2014 @ 12:27pm
is there a tornado in it
Ebonloch 24 Jun, 2014 @ 9:51pm
Now I can feel that feeling of walking knee-deep in snow with the whiteout of snow elsewhere than the winter up here where we live. This is good how? less frostbite, more killing frost dragons :D.
MakTheSaurus 28 Apr, 2014 @ 1:25pm
Looks really nice! I love it. Nice to have blizzards and deluging torrents. Perfect for the harsh land of Skyrim. Thanks man.
If there was one wish that I could have (altough I know that it would be very difficult to achieve) would make it so that there were puddles and flooding and for the snow, drifts and accumulation. This would require some serious mesh mods and a very good GPU (10 years from now).

supreme storms.esp
Contains dirty edits: 1 ITM, 0 UDR records. Needs TES5Edit cleaning.
Grim Holiday 30 Mar, 2014 @ 8:02pm
this is a cool mod but the snow seems to have downgraded in the looks department, that and the new snow screws with my eyes to much to use. love the idea, hate the snow.
RAMIREZ TAKE OUT THAT TANK 💥 24 Jan, 2014 @ 4:15am
im looking for a mod that makes randon storms into deadly storms like storm call and firestorms and such. closest i can find is storm dragons.
Evan 13 Dec, 2013 @ 6:52pm
If a dragon is near, fire or ice storm :)
manny_gt  [author] 13 Dec, 2013 @ 5:02am
?! This mod tweaks all the vanilla storms (including rain and snow).

Description: "
This mod tweaks the vanilla snow and rain storms weathers by making them more.... Extremely intense!"
Slayer Seraph 13 Dec, 2013 @ 3:09am
it's a shame this mod doesn't add two typs of storms: supreme rain and supreme snow, for the vanilla weather, which is excellent in its own right. That way we could get a lot more variety for the game's weather. But this way, every little rain is a storm..
Slayer Seraph 3 Dec, 2013 @ 10:45am
IMPORTANT QUESTION: IS this mod affect all rains and snow??
Now everytime some drops of rain or snow gently falls - it means it's a "Storm". What I mean is, is this gonna affect every possible rain/snow condition? because I rather have some light snow or rain from time to time.
Monkey IV 3 Dec, 2013 @ 10:25am
Oh no ... I take it back. I was caught in a blizzard and i lost my way lol ... but i did find snow shoes :)
Monkey IV 2 Dec, 2013 @ 6:05pm
I haven't seen any rain yet. Or snow storms whats wrong???
jameshooper 26 Nov, 2013 @ 8:57pm
rain goes through roof when outdoors. can only escape it when indoors.
manny_gt  [author] 1 Sep, 2013 @ 11:11am
LOL!!!!!!!!!
ninthguardian 1 Sep, 2013 @ 9:49am
when someone said that this made you feel cold i was like "pfft nerd".... i kid you not i got the chills while walking around in a snowstorm from this mod.. im a believer =P
Cumunculus 30 Aug, 2013 @ 9:13pm
Does this work with FrostFall?
DadWentForCigs 24 Aug, 2013 @ 3:04am
this is a awesome mod. great work!
Knight of Heide 18 Jun, 2013 @ 11:02am
i was really excited by this...but it kinda let me down, just wasn't what i expected i.e snow and not white static on my screen. oh well like your other stuff
Mittens 15 Jun, 2013 @ 10:23pm
Im hunting for a mod that makes generic rain louder, This caught my eye so perhaps you could make a mod that alters the volume of rain or maby replaces the rain audio with a rip from minecraft or something.

"I can see around me, a hail of rain said the rabbit but i hear little more than a dripping tap" (The Rabbit in the City - Book i wrote)
Miranda 18 May, 2013 @ 9:09pm
Dude you do some amazing mod work.
Lothar 12 May, 2013 @ 9:37am
I don't know why but the weather don't change when the mod is active ( play time ~5 hours ). I have no other mods that change the weather. Maybe I have to modify the loading order ? ( I run BOSS programm so it is automatic ).
SHANKING CONQUISTADOR 22 Apr, 2013 @ 11:59am
can u make anouther one of these that have to do with the dust storms in the dragon born DLC
Dick McForeskin 23 Feb, 2013 @ 5:22am
dawnguard?
manny_gt  [author] 19 Feb, 2013 @ 4:24am
Thanks jcrogers... BTW There is a new mod in the Nexus: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31629/

You should try it :)
Kronaz 17 Feb, 2013 @ 7:13pm
Stop complaining about it going through walls and structures, that's not the mod, that's how vanilla weather works. There is no collision detection for precipitation in Skyrim. Deal with it.
YeenBean 2 Feb, 2013 @ 9:50pm
Does the mod also affect NPC vision? That would make it more fair, in terms of not having NPCs see you while you can't see them.
rich_phil 4 Jan, 2013 @ 4:09pm
The snow looks like static to me. Is there a way to use default snow but the modded rain?
Mr. Sunny 27 Dec, 2012 @ 7:46am
The only thing i dont like about it is the rain goes through everything outside so yo cant get under something to get the rain off you. Other than its great!!!
aerouge 24 Dec, 2012 @ 2:12pm
Okay... I must say I like the changes... despite the heavy snowstorm. Looks really unreal and fake, as if it only "projects" the snowstorm between the character and the camera.
SpaceSR 17 Dec, 2012 @ 9:45am
I hope it will work with a "lightning during storms" mod I have :D
Mistythread 15 Dec, 2012 @ 11:00am
Is it a permanant change or does it have normal weather too?
manny_gt  [author] 13 Dec, 2012 @ 10:50am
This is a Skyrim bug. It's not caused by mod itself :P you can see the same thing even if you use vanilla weather
Mr.Hankins 13 Dec, 2012 @ 9:32am
Is there any way you can keep the rain from coming through any structure you are in located in the overworld? Whenever I'm up north and it starts snowing I seek shelter but snow doesn't seem to care that there is a stone wall in the way. Please let us know if there is any thing you can do about it. Im pretty sure that the vanilla weather doesn't do this.
