Booster packs weren't really my goal. To be honest, I wasn't expecting this to get more than 20-30 subs. That we are sitting at 1,368 right now is insane.

P.5000 and I are working on other items. Maybe one of our future releases will be more to your tastes. :)

This isn't an interesting item in any way. It's not an interesting effect and it's not interesting flavour, the sprite work is fine but it's just a boring blue blanket. I hope this doesn't make it in though a booster because it doesn't deserve it.

The idea is that the lesser effect is balanced by its higher availability, since it's a Shop Item. You have to get pret-ty lucky to find Holy Mantle.

Besides, if the only reason people made items was to one-up what already existed, Isaac modding would become nothing more than an arms race. Don't escalate, innovate!

I made it work with Holy Mantle and Wooden Cross. The only issue I have is that it won't show the Holy Mantle glowy shield thing for the second shield you get. You could add a copy of Holy Mantle's costume to your mod and force it to display it though as a fix. This is a visual issue only though, mechanically it all works.

Okay, making Security Blanket and Holy Mantle stack has not been working out. I will continue messing with it over the next few days, but it doesn’t seem very likely to happen at the moment. I apologize.

@Stewartisme That's a very cool idea! Unfortunately, that might be beyond our skill levels at the moment. We'll have to see.

Very cool item, the only think i woul suggest is invert the sprite, since the items have the ligth in top left.

Nice and simple and fits with the theme of isaac. Really nice. It would be neat if the blanket fell off if you got hit in the boss fight and gets put back on after.
