I think you posted this in the wrong place? The potions arent usable by dinos unfortunately. (altho you can use the above coding to make some in the dev kit if you wanted)

@Cadwah, I just added them to the pics here but heres a link to the picture of it as well. They are all basically a repeat of the top line with new values

It was suggested at some point that I add a .3 second delay after Begin PLay and to use just 1 switch has Authority before the sequence but it was after i had stopped modding so not sure if it would still funciton that way or not. Another modder i talked to @ the time thought it would make it run a little smoother that way though. Anyway Good luck!

How do you set it up in the server ini? Please as any advice would aid me greatly. Also have a server coming soon based on Lord of the Rings and would like to use this mod.

Yea the night vision seems to be buggy at best on these mods. i had a fix part way completed but just never had time to upgrade it. I officially removed the descriptions for it in here (altho havent made any coding differences) just so that people arent stuggling with it in the mean time. Thank though im glad your enjoying it!

Works great! I use this in single player. I wanted a play through too primitive for scuba tanks and night vision goggles, but also wanted to be able to ride aquatic dinos for longer periods of time, and not have zero visibility at night (or in caves too hot for a torch) . So I set this for high oxygen and just a teeny hint less pitch blackness at night, and it works nicely. Not so bright that nighttime looks like daytime, but not so dark that I have to sit around waiting to be killed until morning just because my torch broke, lol. Thank you for this! Also, as a side effect to my oxygen increase, I'm much faster in the water. ;)

Also I am trying to run this but each time I consume one of the buffs it drops my hp to 0 and doesnt alter any stats, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Also I hid the buff icon on this one because there are instances where the icon duplicates for short periods of time just due to how it’s set up. They disappear by next log in but as a visual disturbance people didn’t like it. It will still show u the buff if u hit “h” or whatever that shows extended player stat info

Hey I didn’t forget about his I just didn’t have a chance to pull it up yet. I’ll open up the editor tomorrow and make sure it’s set up properly. It’s entirely possible I have it referencing the wrong thing in that spot on the buff so I’ll try to verify that tomorrow for that buff specifically. Also to clear the other part up, I was trying to give examples of things that prevent the night vision from working. Sorry for the confusion there

Well that is unfortunate. I have tried several work arounds both on my end and through server settings in ASM. I have tried DX10/11 Shader model 4/5, no man sky on and off. I have also fiddled with the in game settings a lot and nothing seemed to help it. It is strange though as shadow steak saute seems to still be in full effect with all these seperate settings. I have noticed that while I do get all the different buffs from the other portions, there is no buff in the bottom right hand corner like with your previous race mod. Could that be linked to it or would that be disconnected to this problem?

So, Yea, Ultimately thats why i took it off the other mod (and now just made it INI changeable) a lot of things can mess that specific stat up(unfortunately). As some examples, Running the game in direct x 10, the no mans sky setting change, changing the shader model, some of the player sliders in game and setting check boxes, ect. There was another important setting that someone mesntioned a while back that i cant recall. it wasnt one of the preload changes. Whatever the case, it ultimately wound up being somewhat variable on players and i kept getting a lot of messages regarding it. So i suppose the place i would start is checking if your server is running and of those preload commands to improve fps. Especially if its working fine in single player but not server side.

Hell, I am currently attempting to use this on the Rise of Kings server for testing purposes and it seems like the nightvision modifier is not working. All the other buffs for this race work just fine but there is absolutely no effect on light. Can you think of any reason possibly for this? It works just fine in single player as well.

@D1REWOLF22 you want to put the following commad into your INI files. you need one fore each buff. Class names are in the discussion section. Sorry totally forgot to send this to you the other day.

Replace the <class_name> with one class name from the discussion section but keep the " " on either side. Then make another line and do the next class name.https://ark.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration

Yea unfortunately I couldn't totally correct that. It has to do with the way I set up the start of the buff ini set up in the graph system. But it won't affect stats or anything else. I could try a different initiation node but it's a hard bug to test because it's transient. The start code would require repeated server restarts to test and even then I couldn't be sure if it was corrected or not. It shouldn't affect stats or anything

@CorruptedChaos, if you dont mind take a look at this screenshot http://imgur.com/a/isLMN you'll notice i have two buff icons active from your mod. Im assuming this is a bug. Sometimes its there and other times it isn't.

if your hosting a server check the INI Set Up discussions section and copy and paste everything below the dotted lines into the bottom of your User INI Files. if your playing single player ill type out the folder paths you need to get to your User INI files

@Grant, I have been working on the health regeneration/torpor stuff but it functions a little different than the strait stats so I'm trying to figure out how to get them set appropriately. As for renaming them I'm not sure if that's possible but I also haven't looked into it. I left the buff names vague for that reason so you can apply them like classes or use a phrase like the powerful orcs(take power buff). That said I'll probably still be updating the races mod in the mean time because our server admin seems to want to stick with that one

If there are buffs that sucessfully transfer i can pull those apart in the kit to figure it out. No problem, happy to help if i can. It might take some looking into but cluster servers are pretty popular so it would be useful to have that function if possible. im pretty free today (less so over the weekend) so ill spend some time looking into/working on that

not any buffs i can think of. Although if its not possible due to a technicality like that its not a huge deal breaker but just something I'd need to warn my playerbase of and maybe adjust costs of crafting to be a little cheaper. I love the mod and concept, thank you for looking into it.

I think its because the character briefly ceases to exist. does any buff persist through a cluster transfer currently? I dont have a cluster set up so its not something i can directly test but im looking up some ADK info now to look for work arounds

yeah me too dont know which it would be run 19 had it at the bottom and every restart or log in it reset buffs but its working fine now :)
