If the significance of his presence isn't that he's the current president then what is it? I presume you had reasons for picking these 3 as opposed to any of the other 41 and didn't just pull names from a hat.

Can't wait for that awkward moment where Obama is no longer the current president and you have to change the head on the right. That's gonna be really fiddly. Unless his replacement looks just like him, in which case you can blag it. Here's hoping the next one has a proper afro.
