do you have custom empires? if so then deleting them might help
otherwise there might be a problem with the installation

the UIs are only visual/audio, they don't add empires

I will check discord but I just run the UI that I intend on playing which in this case is the Klingon UI which I activate with the others deactivated. But still do not see the Klingon option while all the others are there such as Federation, Romulan, Borg, ect.

Cutter I attempt to play the Klingon faction in the screen where you choose a power but I do not see the Klingon option, and a friend who plays also has this issue. Any idea what causes it to absent?

It's recommended to only use:

STNH main mod
1 UI mod
TNG Era submod(optional)
music mod (optional)

you can try it with UI overhaul but things will most likely look broken

Quick update:
Unfortunately I won't be able to update the UIs to the latest version (2.7.1 Wells) in the next days.
My old 5 year old pc died some days ago and i gotta build a new one first.
So please have only the STNH mainmod+music mod activated in the launcher for now, since an outdated UI will most likely crash the game.

I'm not sure if there's a bug or I'm doing something wrong or something was changed in the last patch, but in a MP game, the Trade Route mapmode button is gone. The slot where it should go is occupied by the Players Mapmode button. In vanilla Stellaris, going into the trade routes mapmode in a MP game via the T hotkey forces the trade route mapmode to be added on top of the existing row, but that doesn't happen with the STNH interface mods I've tried.
