Not entirely sure why, but bulldozing any main connection road will CTD the game with this mod enabled, sadly for me.

Sparky, I read the instructions you gave about changing airport entries but I couldn't find the userdata folder. The 9 digit folders are in Skyrim/Steamapps on my computer (Windows 10). There were three airport CON files only one didn't have the "station", that was the 1920s one. Not being able to paste it and rename I just changed it in the one in Skyrim and saved it. Will it still work? Keith

Weird, the speed limits on my roads are either the same or higher than default, so I'm not sure why that would happen

Hi, just added this mod to my current game and (great to have a new road style) but it did something odd. When I deleted a train depot in one town it 'broke' the main connections between two unrelated towns!?!?!

The game claimed that the road travel time was now too long (which is an issue I'd not seen before) so I'm guessing that it is something to do with a change in road speeds? I fixed it by actually breaking and restoring a section of each road.

If it works, this image here [68.media.tumblr.com] should show what happened.

It's probably a conflict between my mod and that tiny street mod as they probably both modify the same files.

I was upgrading roads to to accomodate electric tram tracks, they already had non electric tracks. I was getting error messages 'collision' when tried to upgrade a tightly turning loop (narrow city streets). This caused the game to freeze then crash to deskstop. I reloaded the game and tried again with same result.
I then removed the mod from the game and tried again, this time no problem.
The only other street mod in the savegame is one that enables 'tiny streets' and tram only tracks. The error message reported by Windows 10 was that 'Transport Fever had stopped working'.

@Norfolk_Chris: I'll need more info than that for your comment to be helpful. What other mods are you using? What is the crash message? New or existing save? Have you tried unsubbing and resubbing to force steam to redownload?

It works for plenty of other people do it must be something at your end.

I have uninstalled this mod as it caused TF to crash to desktop.

It's not really the fault of the airport mod authors, if you have many mods there is bound to be a conflict somewhere.

Strangely, in the base game all stations use the 'station_new_small' road for access but the airports use the 'new_small' road instead, which is he same one that towns use. This doesn't cause an issue normally but is a problem when you add proper raised pavements to the town roads, like my mod does.

I'm happy to report that seems to have fixed it... wonder why the authors of the airports don't apply that fix... anyway, thanks for taking the time to help me out sir...

o.k., Thanks... I really appreciate it...

(2 OF 2)

- Rename the folder you just pasted to {YOUR STEAM NAME]_Airport_Mod_1

- Go into your newly renamed folder, then \res\construction\station\air

- There should be one .CON file for each airport, these can be opened in notepad.

- In each .CON file you need to find "new_small.lua" and change it to "station_new_small.lua" . Use the search function (Ctrl+F) to speed this up.

- Once you have updated and saved each .CON file, load up the game, then go to the workshop and unsubscribe from the airport mod as we will be using you customised one now.

- Load into a game with you mod enabled and place a custom airport. It should now use a road without pavements, like the original. This should fix the access issues.

(1 OF 2) To fix the airport mod:

- Subscribe to the airport mod and make sure steam downloads it.

- Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\446800

- There will be multiple 9-digit folders, one for each subscribed mod. You need to find the one for the airport mod. To do this open each one and then open mod.lua in notepad, which will give the mods name.

- Once you have found the airport mod copy it's 9-digit folder to C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\[YOUR USER NUMBER]\446800\local\staging_area

- Rename the folder you just pasted to {YOUR STEAM NAME]_Airport_Mod_1

I'm away from my PC at the moment, I'll give you some instructions later.
CrashCreeley 15 Aug, 2017 @ 4:47am
O.k., sounds good to me... How do I do that?
Sparky66  [author] 15 Aug, 2017 @ 4:43am
@CrashCreeley: It's because they use the default small road for access. My mod changes the small road to have proper pavements instead of being flat, meaning that the access points to the station don't line up with the pavements anymore.

It's fixable, but will require you to create your own local copy of the airport mod that you can change. You need to tell the modded airport to use a different road type for access.
CrashCreeley 14 Aug, 2017 @ 4:07pm
The answer would be YES, your mod breaks the connection to modded airports... the only mod you've produced that doesn't break the connections is your traffic mod...

Brilliant, UK stuff at last. Thank you.
CrashCreeley 31 Jul, 2017 @ 4:53am
Do your mods still break the connection to the modded airports? i.e. multi-road connection airport, cargo airports?
Bull 30 Jul, 2017 @ 1:18am
yes, finally british stuff !:steamhappy:
