I cannot use the middle section in the two handed tree.
Ruun 26 Dec, 2015 @ 9:46pm
I was looking forever for a two-handed perks tree overhaul and when I saw this I questioned all of steam how this mod was not number one. Why?
Giga Nibba 23 Dec, 2015 @ 9:17pm
Good mode, I've read all the description and still have one question - does critical strikes with blades, bows/crossbows and sprint-attacks fully scale with your final weapon damage (after all poitions, perks, smithing and enchantings)? Same for bleeding effects for axes and your newly invented ones.
ENES 21 Dec, 2015 @ 4:27am
which button ?
Metalhead1652 22 Dec, 2014 @ 6:58pm
now that two handed setup looks very very nice! I have put it in my game for sure WELL DONE!
DoubleAnarchy 1 Sep, 2014 @ 5:33pm
Also, I do have the steady aim perk but it's not maxed (which is what I'm assuming the slow down is from).
DoubleAnarchy 1 Sep, 2014 @ 5:32pm
I've been playing as an archer for quite some time now, and pretty much the whole time with this mod. Just recently however, when land hits on enemies and I go to re-draw; the bow animation for the pull back slows down all the way (like I'm holding right click as well but I'm not even fully drawn or attempting to aim). The only way it stops is to fully put away the weapon or wait for about 5 seconds. Sheathing the arrow doesn't fix it.

Would this mod possibly do anything to cause it?

thank you thank you thank you love your mods bro. now i dont have to do anymore manual equip unequips with Frost active =)
jgbloyd 24 Aug, 2013 @ 4:20pm
all good, but i'm not sure i agree about how things are supposed to be, like when you imply this is more natural or immersive. i roleplay that my actual skills only improve with, well, my actual gaming skills as I play and that perks are more like when you go over what you did right or wrong and practice or think about better methods, you know, like Bruce Lee did a lot of working toward his perks, lol. I mean, really, what are perks supposed to be RP'd as anyway? So i don't mind that some of the old perks just increased damage or what not. I just pretended it came after some practice and training, which are important yet don't otherwise increase your character's skills. so i'd stab at a practice dummy in game then open my perks.
GroovyRuby 20 Aug, 2013 @ 6:20am
aaahhhhhh...........i didnt realise.....thanks :)
Alex Rox  [author] 19 Aug, 2013 @ 1:26pm
@The Buster Basher: It would be pointless because you get more damage from skill increase now.
GroovyRuby 17 Aug, 2013 @ 2:37pm
i think the Armsman perk should of stayed, but otherwise great :)
Xogo 22 Jul, 2013 @ 1:14am
could you lower the two handed speed boost? at 20% i'm finding that it makes the game unbalanced (they swing faster than one handers) and it makes the animation looks a little weird.
✚ Hydration Check ✚ 25 May, 2013 @ 1:05am
Do a "more extended" version of this mod and it will can called AWSOME ;P
i would really like it if you could make some more ranks to some perks, because i play with really hardcore mods and having "souls to perks/skills" where i get much more perkpoints. You dont have to Sir, but i would really like it to have about 10 ranks like Bone Breaker ignores 25/30/35/40/45/50/55/60/65/70% or Paralyzing stike 1/2/3/4 seconds. Just an example.

But anyway, a good mod, i really like the archery perks!
Zany Fish 27 Jan, 2013 @ 3:42pm
Found it finally! Removed 6 mods and voila, one of them was the culprit! Enjoying the DOT on the arrows tree.
Alex Rox  [author] 27 Jan, 2013 @ 3:15pm
@Zibuddha: It is surely not this mod, only 3 weapon perk trees are altered.
Zany Fish 27 Jan, 2013 @ 11:30am
I've been playing around a little, but so far I'm having an issue with the lockpicking tree. Trying to access it at all, the menu wonks out and then there is just a messy overlap of various stars condensed together, making it a nightmare to try to work with that area.
Alex Rox  [author] 21 Jan, 2013 @ 4:07pm
@joseph.labadia.berlin: Net damage is litle bit higher at the end. It scale much better with skill and power attack perks do make difference.
@Akatsuki28: I'm glad people like it, considering it is old and one of first overhauls made for Skyrim. I did boost weapon specialization perks, including crit damage.
The Catte 21 Jan, 2013 @ 2:11pm
I happen to have subscribed to this mod a few weeks ago, and from my experience, it is great! However, I do have one question. Did you ever modify the damage of critical hits? Of course, I'm not referring to sneak attacks, but rather the crits from, for example, the Bladesman perk. I remember being disappointed with Skyrim's original crits, and I was hoping that you would have changed it... I do not have the perk points for the perk on my current melee'er, so I've yet to test it. I spent a lot of time recently with work and a sneaky assassin, after all, so I'm still a low level for this toon. I'd love it if you did!
Shadylucious Fuchswell 21 Jan, 2013 @ 10:08am
Nevermind, I found the perks but when I tried to run my save without the mod a message came up saying that it was reliant on the mod and froze.
Shadylucious Fuchswell 21 Jan, 2013 @ 9:47am
@Aleks: Good mod, I like the bleeding damage with the bow but I find that my one-handed is severely underpowered now. What are the console codes for all the "Crippling Wounds" perks? The console only shows me spell effects.
Terminus Est 26 Dec, 2012 @ 10:12pm
Following up regarding the sneak attack thing, I was also using a no auto-aim mod that was causing some of my arrow sneak attacks to miss (but the bleed from this mod was triggering either way), I'm going to do some testing without auto aim disabled to see if it's more consistent. :b
Alex Rox  [author] 9 Dec, 2012 @ 1:43am
@-'/ Rook!: If that happens it is a game bug. Archery bleed is the same as axe bleed, applied via perk and game is applying hit effects on killcams as it is supposed to hit. Nothing I can do to fix that.
Terminus Est 9 Dec, 2012 @ 12:40am
Looks like the bleeding perk on the bow is causing sneak attacks to fail. I replicated this a few times, missing a shot on a forsworn would play the killcam anyway (original game problem, I know) but bleed would proc on the forsworn even though the arrow missed. Later on, sneak attacking a giant caused the bleed to proc (killcam again) before the arrow hit, resulting in detection and the giant surviving what would have been an instant kill (hence the killcam) without bleed, figured you might want to know!
Alex Rox  [author] 8 Dec, 2012 @ 4:40pm
@Sf.БОГАТЫРЬ!: It is only incompatible with mods that alter same perks so I think it should work.
Vityan 8 Dec, 2012 @ 8:22am
it is comparable with dual wield blocking?
Alex Rox  [author] 24 Oct, 2012 @ 6:40am
@eeshaan1986: This is one of my first mods. I gave up on the perk overhaul thing long time ago because it didn't meet the popularity expectations. There are now other mods that are full scale overhauls so I will not get more into this. When I'm making a mod I want it to be unique and bring something new, I don't like reusing same ideas. If you like this mod then I'm glad. If you seek more general overhaul you should look for mods like SkyRe (Skyrim Redone), just don't use them both.
Cato Sicarius 24 Oct, 2012 @ 2:24am
@Alek : ah ok thanks alot for the info there ! I'm thinking of starting an entirely new game with all these mods.

You should also try modding the rest of the trees, and the Werewolf/Vampire trees too. I'm sure you'll do just a good with them as you did with armor and weapons.
Alex Rox  [author] 24 Oct, 2012 @ 2:20am
@eeshaan1986: Values might appear lower but net damage should be higher. Scaling is different and more linear so you should expect a litle less damage at lower levels but bit higher at higher levels. You won't see damage increase in number because power attack bonus damage and damage bonus from other perks is not displayed. Also bows now do flat bleeding damage which is also not displayed, just have that in mind and do not panic that your damage is nerfed, it is actually tiny bit higher when you take all perks into account.
Alex Rox  [author] 24 Oct, 2012 @ 2:16am
@eeshaan1986: Preferably near the bottom. To avoid conflicts with mods that modify same perks.
Cato Sicarius 24 Oct, 2012 @ 2:15am
Oops never mind about the console commands, I found them.

BTW I tried out both your armor and weapon overhaul mods, and I gotto say, they're good. They do change the game up a bit, although the Weapon damage of my equipped weapons, and armor value of my armors have decreased quite a bit :(

Now I just gotto look for some nice skill overhauls that aren't bugged to hell for the rest of the skill trees apart from the armor & weapons, along with werewolf and vampire overhauls. Any suggestions ?
Cato Sicarius 24 Oct, 2012 @ 1:53am
Also, what would you recommend as the load order for the mod in the game launcher ?
Alex Rox  [author] 24 Oct, 2012 @ 1:40am
Works for me.
Cato Sicarius 24 Oct, 2012 @ 12:03am
Is this mod compatible with the latest 1.8 patch ?
Alex Rox  [author] 5 Sep, 2012 @ 1:29am
You can't achieve that via perk. That behavior is set for each weapon.
maLice. 4 Sep, 2012 @ 12:26pm
you should mak a new perk that makes it so you can use the twohanded weapons with 1 hand
Alex Rox  [author] 10 Aug, 2012 @ 1:15pm
@magnus: They should.
Magnus 10 Aug, 2012 @ 12:32pm
Do anyone know if the new archery perks works with the crossbows in Dawnguard?
gorin 14 Jun, 2012 @ 4:18am
But how does one integrate that into a mod? :S
gorin 14 Jun, 2012 @ 4:17am
Ah ok, thanks for the help Mitch :)
Alex Rox  [author] 13 Jun, 2012 @ 3:17am
There will be conflict. As far as I know only one mod can modify a single perk tree and one that you load last will work. You'll have to choose and use one of the two mods I'm afraid.
Rhonen 12 Jun, 2012 @ 10:53pm
This maybe is a stupid question but is this mod conflicting with "throwing weapons", the mod adds a few new perk but its related to other stuff thats not in your mod but the perk location in the skill list maybe are.. or is the perk locations random or you have to change that your self?.. anyway your mod looks good will try it soon
Alex Rox  [author] 9 Apr, 2012 @ 1:51am
@Shaksie: If you are talking about Whirlwind perk you can test it by typing in console "player.getav weaponspeedmult" and you should get number 1.2 indicating that it is 20% faster (try it with two handed weapon equipped and without to see the difference). It is hard to notice a small difference in attack speed but it does make a difference in combat.
If you are talking about Quick Shot perk you can do just the same to see if speed increase after each hit. Note that it only increase bow draw speed which is from the moment of putting arrow on the bowstring.
gorin 6 Apr, 2012 @ 11:03pm
Mitchalek, I can't seem to find any weapon speed increasing hits :(.
woody83 4 Apr, 2012 @ 1:57pm
any way you could add a multi shot perk to the archery tree?
Zoidberg, M.D. 6 Mar, 2012 @ 11:47am
I really enjoy this mod, thank you. One thing I really like is that I can now use my bow on my melee orc and still do decent damage without perk investment, which I've always considered more as specialization than proficiency. I also enjoy the extra emphasis on power attacks, a mechanic I never really used before this mod. I find myself looking for lighter weapons to be able to PA more often, now. A nice extra level of strategy when equipping my character. Fav'd.
Drakas 26 Feb, 2012 @ 9:26am
you could go and my ea weapon faster
Alex Rox  [author] 25 Feb, 2012 @ 12:53am
Take a look at existing perks that increase weapon speed. It is all based on a magic effect from which ability spells are made that are further added by perks.
gorin 24 Feb, 2012 @ 6:47pm
How did you increase weapon speed? I want to edit a perk for myself that makes one handed weapons hit 5% faster per perk :)
Drakas 24 Feb, 2012 @ 2:50pm
@ mitchalek cool mod, and yes its weapon mod i did this but it turned out bad but was still funny
