I'm pretty sure a dagger version of a katana is called a Tanto.

Should I or could I? I could, but I am not.
DoctorRulf 4 Jun, 2013 @ 7:16pm

is there a way to make merchants sell them to the player-character at a required level.

Love the designs and textures, but could you add blood textures to the katanas? I've kill like 100 enemies with them and they are'nt covered in blood

alright thanks, nice jod btw

Stand-alone, I suppose. All variations of the "Bani Katana" are stand-alone and I split them into individual files to keep the files smaller. Not everyone wants to wait for a 80mb file to download.

is this mod a stand-alone or replacer?

If you let it download fully there should not be any issue with missing models. The exclamation mark is a place holder used when a item's mesh cannot be found. I would check your Skyrim data folder (usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data" with default steam install on 64bit windows). For each mod you are subscribed to there should be an esp file and a bsa file, each sharing the same name. You must have an esp file, since you can play the mod. The bsa contains the mod data: meshes, textures, et cetera. This would be where your issue lies. Check that you have a bsa file for each mod that has the issue. If you do, then I do not know what the issue could be. You could try downloading "BSA Browser" and extracting the bsa and manually placing the files in the correct file path locations. Having a file with the same name in the file path referenced in the bsa will override the file in the bsa.

I would love to have your katanas but i need help. Every time I download a mod with a new mesh file or new nif files it never works its just a question mark. What I do when i download it is I just subscribe and wait for the file to download.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Enjoy the weapon.

@Amazing Mr Rich
I balanced them to be equivalent or close to ebony weapons.

@Zeal501
Yes, you need the ebony smithing perk. I tried to be a bit subtle about it in the description. They require the ebony smithing perth because, as I said above, they do damage equivalent or close to ebony weapons.
JimJam 23 Nov, 2012 @ 4:20pm
Just to make sure, do I need ebony smithing to craft these? They don't appear in my steel category, as said in the description.

Slightly stronger than the vamilla swords, and looks amazing! Very nice work sir!
Ferus 23 Nov, 2012 @ 11:58am
Very pretty blades. They appear to be completely non-canon, but I do like how they look.

oha, very nice idea, very modern design. Form follows function. Thank you!
