Report a translation problem
I just really like the script. If it gets the points we've taken below it'll be the ideal script. <3
Revive is when another player presses "E" key on my tombstone and I get spawned to where I died.
I lose guns/items after a "revive".
So my suggestion was we should at least get our guns/items back after getting "revived".
- and only get a loadout reset if I die and get "respawned" (Go back to having only the physgun, hl2 weapons, camera etc. Original loadout.)
That's why I gave Filzo's Reviving Mod as an example. It doesn't reset my weapon loadout if I get "revived".
Also I get what you mean now I just tested the command. Seems like that's the main switch of the addon. I thought I'd still be able to get revived as a ragdoll. (Then that means this could also be a nice addition).
It does read the outfitter model I use in the little popup on the right side of the screen but I guess I misunderstood the convar. My bad there.
There are some setbacks though that I might need to mention:
- Revived players lose their items. Maybe this can adapt some features from Filzo's reviving mod. That one doesn't remove your items after getting revived. (Sadly though the addon is not actively supported anymore).
- Something minor but it could probably use a reviving time/delay. Like"Hold E" to revive and then they need to stay put for at least 3-5 seconds.
- A tickable box that turns on and off tombstones and traditional ragdoll death. tstones_cl_enabled boolean (0 or 1) seems to be there but I don't see it in the options. Also, if possible and if not too much too ask, support to read whatever model is the player using in the Outfitter Mod. (That mod is popular in servers nowadays). It's kinda awkward when I use my favorite character in outfitter and die as an HL2 ragdoll.
