You're welcome
should be, the only time a mod like this could have an issue is if another mod adds another version of steel bar.
.
in that case i'd recommend the tungsten bar version.
since it uses tungsten instead of adding a steel bar its alot less likely to cause an issue.
.
I also have a special place in my heart for the elithian race mod because their droids look like the b1 battle droids from star wars...roger roger
after 0.1 seconds of looking into it. it seems weapons need the "upgradeableWeapon" tag
as in "itemTags" : ["weapon","melee","broadsword","upgradeableWeapon"],
.
once upgraded they seem to take on a new image, get a star next to their name and do a bit more damage.
.
I'm rather unsure if i want to add that feature. :/
just because these weapons are suppose to be before they were removed from the game and in general they do tend to do 25% more damage than normal weapons.
im hoping it buffs the damage by an amount instead of requiring set instructions
I honestly have no clue when i did make these that feature didn't exist.
any chance you know if it can work with modded weapons?
the only thing i know is if you upgrade the "time pierce" broadsword its sprite chances to a gold tips version.
both you and friend will have to had the mod subbed.
Try creating a list of all the mods you're subbed to and ask your friend to do the same
then send each other the links to these collections so you can both sync your mods together to prevent this.
kinda wish starbound could do this for the player.....
like the fish dudes weapons were mostly traditional Japanese weapons with spears becoming tridents.
floran weapons were savage and usually tied down with vines.
.
it was a shame they were removed but thankfully i was filled with determination to restore them.
I made a similar version that uses tungsten because a few mods have reported having issues with this one because it uses steel bars like others. and it can cause crashes.
.
if you experience that try the tunsgun version
yeah it might be a combination of this mod and others that use their own type of steel bar.
thats why i ended up making a version that uses the tungsten bar instead of steel.
.
the tungsten version might not match the old Legacy weapons using steel but i made it that way to ensure maximum compatibility.
.
So i guess give this one a shot if the steel bar becomes too much of an issue.

it should be.
but to be honest I'd recommend this version of this mod.
it uses the Vanilla tungstun bar...i made it because its generally alot more reliable when it comes to working with other mods...since some use their own steel bar and this steel bar version can often get confused.
.
heres a link to the tungstun bar version.

happy starbound finally added them
But it could be just on my end
I forget....did these weapons have elements when they were ingame?
I was really just re-adding these as i remember them.
once you're in admin you can type
/spawnitem novastarter
/spawnitem novatier8revolver 1
/spawnitem novatier8revolver 1
8 being the tier of revolver you're looking for theres 1-10 tiers of revolvers
the 1 on the end being how many you want to spawn
for the rifles you can enter
/spawnitem novatier0rifle 1
/spawnitem novatier1rifle 1
0-10 same to the revolvers
im sure you're aware but the item will spawn were your mouse is so ensure its near you
I can say with safely it shouldn't at all.
it only adds weapons worse you'll experience is any of these weapons loaded into the game will become that green debug block "Perfectly Generic Matter"
they were all the racial themed weapons that existed in starbound before 1.0 was released.
i couldn't just let them fade from existance since they matched suits of armor. :)
I also bought some of the crafting materials back into existance with this.
just fyi they have the same stats as they used to but they're roughly 25% more powerful than standard weapons.
my favoruite is the glitch tier 6 warhammer named Idoom
