I might get around to making it compatibile but the building list now has a filter function that sorta renders this mod mostly pointless :LotusFlower:

No you dont have to download any mods. Thats just a list of mods it works with.
Altho some of them may have added new buildings in which case it would still organize just not the new ones :LotusFlower:

hmm i cant belive i never replied back to you ;-;
I would have said im not a fan of renaming with numbers but when i tried to rename with things like Alpha the words would not show up. I tried a number of other ways to rename but they either didnt work or wouldnt give the desired results.

and as for todays update in general, updated for 2.0.0 I still need to actually add in 2.0 buildings but this was just a QoL change :LotusFlower:

Well, I tried out your mod, but for some strange reason the renaming-with-numbers is very off-putting. Also I have only a few mod-added buildings, so please don’t make a separate version for me.

ok, as someone who uses a lot of building mods, id like to start by saying that im not a fan of shoving them down to the bottom.

that said ive done it anyway. that that said, the launcher keeps telling me that the mod isnt found and a new one will be created instead, which im not really all for so until i figure out how to actually update this one..

chances are things will stay as they are.

all that said, i suppose i could just upload a seperate version just for you to use with them at the bottom lol.

i think that kinda goes against part of what i made this for which is to quickly find non planet unique buildings. if they where all shoved at the top it would take longer to find standard buildings.

how would it be if i put them together at the bottom?

Do you know what would be awesome? If Planet/Empire Unique buildings were singled out into their own column, or placed at the very top of the list (when buildable).

Even using Tiny Buildings, the #1 thing I spend time scanning for is whether or not my planet already has “this type of building which enhances other buildings”. Energy Nexus, Mineral Processing. I’d love to be able to see that faster.

you are right ;-;

i thought it was 2 different psionic mods becuase im forgetful and the localization fire was changed so it didnt warn me of overwriting and my update log listed the first time as someone else. i didnt relize she changed her name since then...

on the up side... since the localization was changed that should have meant this mod wouldnt work on that one anymore. so i re-added compatability by accident :LotusFlower:

i could never figure out how to read error logs.

well it looks like it expected a colon but i added # to the words located there and updated. hope you solve your crash issue with little work. thank you for the heads up :LotusFlower:

Found a slight issue with the mod, from the error logs:

Just an FYI, the Frontier Clinic building was renamed to Gene Clinic in 1.8, as it can now be built anywhere. The mod still uses the old name.

actually i have it set as supported version 1.8.* so it shouldnt need to be updated for 1.8.1. maybe because its a beta patch?

anyway updated anyway to remove spaceport module and weapon sorting (since those didnt actually work but i forgot to remove them) and added support for EAC buildings :LotusFlower:

its at 1.8.1 now? well it will still work as is.

but i did want to add the EAC mod buildings and there may be some buildings i need to add if the 1.8.0 update or expansion added any new buildings. and i need to remove some text from a weapons test so yes there will be an update.

first, dont worry about it. we all get confused.

second, no no no you should not unsub. this mod only overrides the localization files for any intergrated mods. without those mods you have no way to actually build them.

and thirdly, i just intergrated that mod a few min ago lol. i just thought that was funny :LotusFlower:

Sorry but I have some confusion, does the section that says currently integrating mean those mods are included in this one? I use Ethics, Civics and Traditions Rebuild, so should I unsub from that and just use this mod?

Yes it should work just fine, only things that actually show up on the build list or are upgrades with multiple choice have the needed sorting. The only reason another mod should actually incompatible is if it changes the base structures code file name or overwrites the same name. But there should be no reason any mod would do such a thing.

Adding 3- to Engineering Lab IV would be pointless as it doesnt show up in the build list outside of mods (to which if there was a mod that did such a thing then the sorting would be needed and would be intergrated)

The only reasons I can see to add the sorting to every single building would be for future proofing against mods that do that, or in case paradox decided to allow us to build some later tiers without going through the upgrades on well developed planets & finally just to keep the buildings mostly named the same as their predecessors (which there is no reason to do the last one outside of serious OCD)

hey sithalo been wanting something like this mod for ages! i got a noob question though; would this cause issues with mods that add extra levels to vanilla building? eg. zenith of fallen empires adding FE building variants as upgrades to vanilla production buildings

If you do not have them already, I reccomend the "Tiny" series of mods by Folk. Heres the link to the Ouliner mod which has links to others including Tiny Building List which makes it alot more compact.
