Downloading this to stop freaking counts with 1... ONE county. Thinking they're powerful vassals.

Well, you could simply lower or remove the opinion modifier instead. -40 does seem a bit hefty.

Everything is fine, of course, only it turns off the convenient "powerful vassal" icon. But there is no way to disable or change this value so that the icon is displayed?

I've been trying this with Elder Kings and I can't get it to work. I've changed everything to 0 in defines.lua, but nothing happened. Anything I've missed?

@Caio Yep it still works, as long as paradox doesn't change the code of the powerfull vassals thing it should always work. For example, if they changed the code "DUKE_POWERFUL_VASSAL_COUNT = 4" to "POWERFUL_DUKE_VASSAL_COUNT = 4" Then my mod would no longer work.

@Caio It should be compatable with any future updates as long as they don't change the three values in the description. I tested it and it's still working properly.

I agree! It even doesn't make sense if the council's authority was abolished (as in the council can't vote on laws) yet you still have stronger vassals pissed off so badly. I would understand if there was like a -5 opinion in that situation, as the council gives a prestige bonus, but not goddamn -40!

i hate this feature. maybe the devs should lower this maybe make it 20 or 10. its way to expensive dealing with these seems to be better to just have no vassals xD
