what is "TDS"?

so the ship looks cool as hell. But why does it have so little HP? Why do people who make skips not put armor on the ships to make them more durable? As far as I'm aware there isn't a feature to change stuff to armor without selecting every individual block which isn't what i want to do after getting a cool ship just to make it viable.

Managed to get a nice picture with your ship! It's close enough to the Reaper but has a few differences, most notably the main engines.

Still a well made ship, and functional too! (May lack space for cargo tho)

HINT: When resizing templates, they're treated like a single block. That mechanic can also be used for... Other purposes.

So, quick question, new to Avorion, been checking out ships for design ideas, and I've realized that a lot of these ships have blocks smaller than what I can make. Is there some "minimum block dimension" setting that can be tweaked??

Sure. The thrusters I use were actually taken off another ship design from the forums, then I added a bunch of stuff to make use of the empty space on the inside. Even some of the tanks in front of those thrusters were made from modified bits of it.

beautiful design, i love how much detail went into it.

I hope you don't mind if I download your ships to rip pieces off and copy specific parts like your thruster design or panelling, etc. If it were possible, I'd just ask you to upload preset pieces, but I don't think that is just yet.
