found which mod it is incompatible with (for me, at least) it's the player shrinkinator mod.

well, i'm not sure how i could contribute anything, but thanks for letting me know that it could be a compatibility issue. if i can find out which mods break it, then i will put that here too.

@RidiculousUsername_03 if the prone mod works when you have 0 other addons installed then the issue is an incompatibility with some other addon(s). I'm not actively supporting this mod anymore but you're more than welcome to contribute a compatibility fix to the prone mod's GitHub repo [github.com]. Ill publish the fix here and add u as a contributor

a lot of people have an issue where you go prone, but your camera is still at normal standing height and you can shoot, use toolgun etc from that point. hope you can fix this issue soon, as a whole discussion has been opened about it.
