Thanks Styrestian , thats correct , it is only the heightnap that its taken from the location and then a bit modified to suit the game engine.

This is a great map. I just love the intersection, this is so not Volda in real, thats great cause its needed when Volda becomes this giant city in the game

I couldn't agree more MrMiyagi. ecania has long since been one of my favourite creators, with a clean style, and a really artistic eye. I put all his maps into my 'map porn' folder :D

I haven't seen land prepareation this thoughtful and precise since KOLD, my map Sensei, who taught me all my first lessons. I'm very excited to see someone take up the mantle. (psst, this is high praise :steamhappy: ) If Matt Crux saw your maps, I'm sure we could drag him back to the game. He loved Kold's stuff, and it's hard to find bulder maps like this. I am following ou now (which I can't believe I hadn't yet) and am glad to have a builder style map maker I can refer others to again!

Okeedoke! Beautifully crafted map! I'm going to go off the script now because there's something really remarkable in all your maps - your extremely precise land sculpting. It's on purpose! :) Yours is a builders style *but* one that also pays great attention to maintaining as natural a look as you can squeeze out of this style. This is quite rare in builders maps. Let's look at just one element: your shorelines. You have very tastefully small, sharp edges on shorelines at a consistent hieght for precisely what the game needs when building. Players will be able to just place whatever they want... quays, harbors, shoreline roads... and "voila!" perfect shoreline at perfect elevation, all natural looking! In my maps the shorelines are often imperfect / naturalized, which means they have to do a *lot* of work. Mwuahaha I make them suffer (continued)
