I've actually had the Darker version(1113047503) on my server for awhile but it wasn't working on Buhriz either, until tonight. I'm not sure what changed but clear water is once again flowing in Buhriz.at least with the darker version.
I had the same problem with this version as you did, it didn't show anywhere so I switched to the darker version. I haven't tried to switch back yet. If you did work on this let me know and I'll try to install it again.
It just makes no sense. I know nothing about the modding process so it's hard to wrap my head around it. It's a damn good mod and greatly improves the maps with flowing water sources, except Buhriz.
It just sucks that neither version will work on Buhriz anymore. That default water is just...... bad.
Could it possibly be an isolated situation with my server? Or maybe just hosted servers like mine(gameservers.com)? Or is it now broken in Buhriz for everyone, both hosted or local?
I'm not criticizing you in any way. I hope I didn't give you that impression. I respect the modders of this game and the work you/they have done to improve the game for everyone.
I would just like to see this working again, if possible.
Thanks for your continued replies, it's appreciated.
I just tried this version on my server and for some reason it isn't working on Buhriz either.
I had the same problem with the darker version. Is anyone else having this issue?
It's a shame since this improves the map dramatically, at least in my opinion. Weapons and equipment can actually be seen in the water, unlike the vanilla water. And it just looks better.
I guess I should be posting on the page for the darker version but I erroneously posted on this one
first.
I would try to delete the darker version and try this one instead but I'm still having trouble getting my server to install from the workshop so it will have to stay as is for now.
The default water isn't game breaking or anything, but after seeing buhriz with your mod,
going back to default just can't compete.
I actually have this version on my server- 1113047503. I got them mixed up, sorry about that.
The artifacts I had previously are gone but the water on buhriz_coop is still back to default.
Buhriz_night_coop and convoy_coopv1 both have the enhanced water(darker version), which btw is outstanding compared to the regular pea soup slurry of the vanilla water.
I haven't checked any other maps yet.
Any idea why the darker version mod isn't working on buhriz_coop but works on other maps?
Like I said before, it could be a server side issue since it's been failing at installing anything new from the workshop lately. Whatever is causing the problem might also be affecting certain mods or maps currently installed.
Gameservers support keep telling me this workshop problem is a Steam-wide issue across other games yet I see nothing in the workshop about others having the issue so who knows.
slurry like water. Then a day or two ago I had these weird artifacts that stemmed from the water and moved with my character. Then today the water was back to default even though the mod is still listed in my server files.
I've been having an issue with my server not loading anything new from the Workshop. Gameservers support has been blaming it on Steam but said it shouldn't affect mods already on the server, only new maps or mods and they're not sure why. Yet this water mod had been working flawlessly until now.
I just figured I'd share what I've experienced on my server with this mod, and with Workshop in general.
Anyone else have the same issues?
It is tweaked according to Coaster's suggestion.
It looks pretty nice tho

Oh, and as before, the water on Embassy and Revolt looks all sorts of jacked up now. You might want to leave those two alone until you're ready to give them dedicated attention.
Keep up the good work! This water transforms Buhriz from one of the worst looking maps to one of the best!
