no
left turrets in the cubes original location & took cube with me.
grabbing the turrets, was a side mission, I set myself, to increase the fun :)
it was not part of the map goals & did not help solve the map, in any way.
just fun :)

did they hold down the button?

I grabbed each turret, in a hit & run action. (one at a time)
& put them with the cube (turrets still alive).
then took the cube. the barter system :)

I didn't really understand your comment about the turrets, but thanks!

I liked the sphere retrieval, the most (the intended way)
as I ran out of money, to pay for the cube.
I swapped it for 4 turrets.
I had fun :)

I loved the easiness of it, and I liked the elevator at the end, how it showed you all the puzzles that you completed. It reminded me of that scene in Half-Life 2, where Gordon Freeman is captured and taken to Wallace Breen's office in the Citadel.

I did realize that solution to the first room when testing it but left it in as it is still a one-step solution to solve the same problem

Also, the map was a lot of fun and I'd like to see more maps like this! Very creative and fun.

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way trying to diss your map in any way, shape or form

Entering the first room, you can place a portal right under the grate with the cube on it and place another portal below it (which is what I did) and just grabbed the cube through the portal and plopped it onto the ground. Not sure if that is an intended way of doing it, just letting you know about it. If you want to keep the stairs maybe make the portalable surfaces under the grating with the cube on it, non-portalable. That's just a sugesstion, hopefully all that made sense.

Heh, spoken like a true author.

I had that problem as well when testing it but I think the slow ride through the previous tests was worth it

The final lift is a bit long if you miss it the first time around. That's just nit-picking though.

Nice easy map, well made and sufficiently lit. I did it like @daloboy except for getting the ball, you apparently fixed that room. Thanks for your efforts.

I think I'd name this Mr. Toad's wild ride. Thanks for creating

Similar to expat, was looking for a use for the angled panel so wasted some time, Enjoyed, Thank you.
Expat 9 Aug, 2017 @ 5:43am
Good fun, although I skippeda couple of elements too. I didn't use the stairs to get the first cube nor the angled panel to get the ball. Didn't spot the latter until I already had it. Thanks for creating, fun as always.

Hi there! I did not use all your elements, found some bypass: my solution .
Try one of mine . Thanks.

Kinda easy, but it was a good chamber overall.
