Although seemingly a strange choice, at the time the scenario was created there was no other EMU available in BR Blue.

Incidentally, I have the AP lighting pack - it makes it a "rainy early evening" scene rather than one at dusk, and it doesn't get appreciably darker for the duration as the weather improves a bit! Didn't take anything away from it for me though.

I would like to add a +1 for extending to Carlisle, as, on such a night, it would be foolish to assume an unscheduled stop is the last of the grief one is going to take during that shift. ;-)
