Thanks for the awesome mod!!! I HATE that aids looking carbine they included in the original game. PLEASE make an MP41 as another option, or the Beretta Model 38!!

@Sakey Currently decompiling DOI weapons does not work properly. But the model source files are available with the game download in : \dayofinfamy\sdk_content\modelsrc\weapons so it actually saves you from having to decompile. The rest of that guide is still relevant and you can follow it for everything else.

Still looking into possible ways to fix the sling, would like to replace it entirely with a pistol lanyard eventually but got to make it and possibly figure out how to animate it.

Sorry, it's possible to put it on the pistol version third person animations - BUT it would break other mods that modify theaters, and this mod would then break every time the game officially updates, so the downsides are pretty big to do so.

The Mauser Carbine was solely for export and was never brought to combat, and it never had select-fire nor had it a detachable magazine.

the mauser carbine existed, but not in full auto. so this mod replaces the incorrect gun with the correct full auto mauser

awesome! Just for the hell of it, do you think that you could replace the BAR with the DP-28 and the PPSH for the thompson? I know it's not really historically accurate giving the US Russian weapons, but I would love to us them.
