@иоνα If it won't work on any map, just use this console command to load it in ‒ sometimes Gmod jist won't load fashlight light texture from mods automatically.

sometimes it works for most maps, othertimes it doesn't.

I don't know why that is, nor do I know how to fix

how is this supposed to work? i installed it and nothing is different when I turn my flashlight on.

This is good, I using this since a really long time, and this actually makes the flashlight brighter than without addons (vanilla)! 👍 🔦

Same way you use your flashlight normally, with X. Once you install this it will automatically apply itself.

There might be another mod out there that can change this. It's as best it can default wise

You could look through half life or gary's mod commands and there might be something to change brightness

All this does is change the texture itself, not the sound in any way.

just install it and make sure the addon isn't disabled.

Then use your flashlight.

Oh, yeah I've noticed that too.

In short, it works here and there, always for vehicles, but not sure why for first person.

IT DOES WORK.

Just not all the time.

And no I have no way of fixing it. you could try downloading it from Game Banana (Link in desc), and I think it works better too.

Well, I can just change mat_specular to 0 (my preferred setting) in the main menu, it's quicker than doing it on a map and makes your addon work so it's fine by me ;)

? The flashlight should be working, it works for me at least. Try going to the gamebanana link and download the mod from there. then in your addons folder, add the flashlight folder there.

Seems to be an issue with gmod itself, changing "mat_specular" using console fixes it but only per session. This might get tedious fairly quickly. Waiting for a fix ;) Great flashlight sprite btw
