Regarding the story: thank you for the feedback! I had this planned but some people gave me feedback that all the text was overwhelming. I am planning on an scenario "DLC" though, that would be a ship you need to place in creative with additional tasks and stories dropping so you can continue the world.
Thank you for playing my worlds!

nowhere, yet, I am afraid! I am in the process of writing a book - and that entails a lot more information.
Short story: the letters correspond with constellations in the Akhinnae night sky. They are phonemic letters that are used to build words while the grammatical differentiation comes from addtional structure signs placed above or below a sentence in a smaller line.
You put the mod into your worldfile, load the world, install an LCD screen and choose from the picture list - does that not work?
Hey! I am afraid that this depends on each LCD pack. The *.dds format that LCD images use is very limited on the reverse-engineering functionality. However, some of the modders have in the past included their raw images either in the folder or as sub-layer in the image itself. In that case it would be a simple matter of extracting, re-adjusting the alpha channel correctly and then re-converting into dds. With some images it would be harder - the brighter they get in terms of background the less legible they will be with my method - my alpha-channel is all emissive. So each picture with a bright background will have to be tweaked differently.
I have put up a guide here:

However, as far as abandoned mods go: I would need to obtain permission from the original authors, first - I am quite old-fashioned about that ^^
