Mod support can't be that poor if they managed to integrate steam workshop and even a dedicated folder where all the mods go in that overrides whatever values are in there over the default ones....instead of manually editing config files and risk screwing up the game because the ranges you inserted is unacceptable or doesn't work.

Considering how poorly the mod support is for this game, It's a wonder that a single dll can be used

Raze Capitals is a DLL mod, and you can only have 1 DLL mod enabled at a time. If 2 or more DLL mods are enabled, one will get ignored.

i have razed capitals however it says i have captured less capitals than i have. does this mean i can't win a domination victory

I lost the old development environment and version, my only guess is that the new id generated is no good to update this version. If someone can provide me with the last version id, I am looking for the id that is in the modinfo file of version 3, <Mod id="XXXXXXXXX" version="3"> I will be able to test this.

If not I will create a new entry as an entire new mod, that may be the easier solution. Not much more I can do as the functionality behind the workshop is beyond my control.

and02. it IS complicated. not to you, but to people like me it is. helping me, instead of giving me a lecture, would have been the appropriate course of action. i cant understand a thing bertile said, otherwise i would have had it fixed by now. im not gonna get this mod:( im letin it go, i can just enable one city challenge if i wanna burn down capitals. iv waited 3 days, more then enough time, for some help, and all i get is someone telling me "its not complicated" . to the author, if you actually fix this problem yourself, more people would get this, and you would get more subs. im not the only one with this problem, but i am one of the only ones voicing my thoughts.

Jak - it's not complicated - just do what Bertil did (see comment further down; just rename the mod file by adding ".zip" at the end of the filename - if you don't have a separate utility, like WinZip, and if you're running Win OS)... worked fine for my G&K

its because he updated it, and it requires some sort of complicated action with your DLL or whatever.

i agree fiery. with at least half of the mods i get, they end up being updated, or sometimes wont even appear on the list, requiring some complicated action in your files or that "dll" thing. it does get frustraiting. no offense to the author, but i really do think you should post step by step instrucitons, like fiery said, in the future if you do more updates, if said updates intefere with the mods functionality

Amen Jak. Caveman here too. If a lot of modders stopped using all that techie geek jargon then maybe more people can enjoy more mods AND they'll get more subscribers. If their mods just hafta be complicated then they can atleast post step by step instructions in the description. Yeah I want this mod but I don't even know where or what the "installation directory" or "DDL" is!

ok, so i went to my fiiles, but have no idea what you mean by "unzip the file" so i went online, and tried looking it up, but, as i knew it would turn out, no luck there either. if someone could break it down for me like im a caveman, i would appreciate it:)

It should I guess, also that way the mod will always be enabled automatically. If there is a game update they will probably be replaced anyways.

Unziping the file to C:\Users\---USERNAME---\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\RazeCapitals\ Works excellent (tested in game with Brave New World).

A small observation is that the mod is now called RazeCapitals (v. 1), which I'm guessing might be related to the disapearing act.

You can download it from here also, copy the file to the Mods folder and should be detected by game. If not just unzip the file so that it creates the folder inside the Mods one.

After updating the mod I can't find it any longer... It just disappered.
Have tried unsubscribing and subscribing again without any success getting it back.

I wait te new version, compatible with the current update. I'm not playing CIV 5 more until this MOD does not return the ability to destroy enemy capitals or city-state.

It's currently broken, nighshade, we have to wait until the author updates; the way I understood it, it's mostly a matter of recompiling.
