Do you now not have your website? I really miss it! :)
Anyway thank you for your great mods. It's made DD so much more fun for me!
My only hang-up is that it is incompatible with the original, as I enjoy both equally.
But it's weird that the CoM vendor crashes the game because I play without CC enabled.
I can still see the normal trinkets (from the gipsy lady). It only crashes when I try to view the CoM trinkets (I have CoM enabled. It was only CC that I had disabled)
Maybe you could add this to the list of known issues so that at least others know to avoid the problem.
No other mods enabled other than this one.
Highwayman, the librarian, rescuer, omen seeker, cataphract, plague doctor. All of the are versatile and some cure bleeding for free.
it gives you the item used to build her district
built it
its pretty good
it's a low chance spawn curio in the warrens. I went weeks hunting it without seeing it. Keep trying it should eventually spawn.
Fawn was part of the twenty and so heroes I used for my fisrt "no vanilla classes" run. She ended as one of my favorites.
I love the design, mixture of unsettling cuteness, frankensteen style features, wildness and nudity.
She's a very capable ally, that can become an absolute beast while being always on the edge of death.
I found that the key to unleash its power is by selecting carefully the other members of its team, its trinkets and provisions.
Obviously she needs an ally with cure bleed. Lamia is the perfect pick here that will heal her in the same time. Just beware that Lamia will spent a lot of actions doing so and little else. Seraph or Plague Doctor will also do the trick. Guarding her may also be a good idea.
It's viable to have one or even two heroes whose sole purpose is to protect/heal the fawn. Honestly, she's that strong.
Provision pick is simple : take a lot of bandages, also some herbs and holy water. Your lamia may be stuned or busy, you don't want your fawn to suffer bleed damage more than once, so bandages. Herbs will remove those -33% bleed resist the fawn get when she crits. I usually wait until I reach -66% or even -99% to use the herb, depending of the situation. Holy water will gives nice +% bleed resistence. I rarely needs it, but its handy on tough fights.
I'm sure there are several strategies as far as trinkets is concerned. Mine is to use bleed resist trinkets, my favorite being the cleansing crystal. Not only it raises bleed resist, but it also raise debuff resist (remember that bleed resist penalty when criting?). It also reduces bleed and debuff skill, which is both good and bad, as it affects self inflicting features alongside the ones harming ennemies. Flesh's Heart is also an awasome trinket choice for the end game. Blood charm is here for the early game.
I didn't try fawn specific trinkets. Most of them degrade the fawn bleed resist, and this is a strategy I didn't tried. Maybe with a good bleed cleaner (like the lamia), it's viable to let the fawn bleed at each attack, and let her do an even better job smashing ennemies.
Fawn helped me complete DD2, alongside a Lamia, an offering and an exorcist. Guess who dealt most of the damage to those impalers?
Note that this mod comes with a new district, which will gives debuff and disease resist to ALL your heroes (I guess it's a bit OP).
Also note that with fawn comes an optional boss encounter, which appears rarely in the warrens. Beware of this disturbing foe, it's a difficult and very long fight. But the reward may be worth it, with unique trinkets that are both fun and strongs.
You're either going to have to consign yourself to never running her without a party member that can cure or you're gonna have to install the Homunculus mod and give her the Flesh Curse
Her animations look really off when running a faster combat mod
She's another movement based character and if you're running a lot of mods you probably already have at least 5 of those
The mod adds a hidden boss fight to the Warrens that is both unfun and disgusting /d/ trash
If none of that bothers you, she's another strong and satisfying movement rogue that cant take hits for shit, benefits greatly from an increased crit chance, and requires a party that can handle being shuffled around, and while that's nothing unique, The Fawn is one of the best at it
Aside from that I love her design, and her skills/bleed. will use her again but not a top tier pick for a second season. though I do feel bad for her (storywise).
Why I should accept -20 bleed resist in exchange for a so small bonus? It's the second time I sell my trinket. I can have the same results without the bleedresist malus
But the class mod is great like any other cm from Muscarine
10/10
I love the class though. Great work on that.
I straight up 3d modeled and printed because it’s so f-ing cool I want to use it in a dnd game https://twitter.com/naveevdgr/status/1487225229151592449?s=21
