Love it.
Have you tried my tips before you claim to know something about something you "only know the basics" of?
@Aquafawks:
Yes, that's another possibility, so you can have even different experiences between dedicated servers as well as multiple single player instances. But one conflict still exists in every installation: a corrupted mod file installation which can be never excluded.
It's one of the first things you learn, on most ADK tutorials.
You need to replicate the data both on server and client, when you make connections to various actions.
I don't know much about mod developing, but I know the basics.
I have a bug report and a suggestion.
- Bug report:
Cannot put anything in Pegomastax' inventory, on Single Player.
Works great on dedicated server, though.
- Suggestion:
If it's possible, add Troodon (UAC) that doesn't do any torpor (or does less).
It's annoying to knock you out with one hit, and then keep you sleep for hours.
Thank god this mod exists .. All the devs had to do was expand the ****ing hit boxes but no a **** mechanic paired with near nonexistent hitbox..
I really only find stun locks, dismounts, and thievery particularly annoying.
My only suggestion is adding INI settings for each dino change. It would be nice to be able to control what change each dino gets and/or to remove dinos from being remapped at all.
Regardless, thank you so much for taking the time to make this.
My approach will not work for your idea. I just clone the modded Dino in the moment it got tamed and kill the old Dino. In this cloning node I take the Dino data of my mod Dino and as target class, I use the vanilla one. This way the new Dino will have all the stats of the old one but will be the vanilla Dino, wich is completely unmodified. And this is why it will not work for you. With this process the Dino will lose any auto harvesting modification you gave him. It's simply not modded anymore.
Regarding your other issue with carnos. Sorry, but I don't have time to investigate this at the moment. You will have to wait.
@MokahTGS:
This mod is only remapping Dinos. Nothing map specific done. So it should work everywhere.
Sorry for the delay. Yes the carnos have the UAC tag in their name.
I tried to reproduce this in DevKit, but it seems to be OK. Are those Carnos having the "(UAC)" in their name?
Regarding source files.
Maybe some time in the future....
