fizzler puzzles can be tedious but this was good :steamfacepalm:

This is the way I did the end sequence initially, but I prefer the I used in my previous video.

Excellent puzzle, definite thumbs up: intended solution ?

I see I'm not the only one who thought this was a difficult challenge. Quite the poser. But happy I completed it--and I believe in the intended way.

very excellent!!

In case you are wondering, I think elfarmarino had the right solution (hard to tell with just 1 pic). However, all of your other positioning of the cubes you described are what I had in mind. All the same pulling the cube though the fizzler is a nice alternate solution :) Thanks for playing. I hope you had fun solving this.

Some things different:

Unlike elfarmarino, Rather than move the cube from the far side button to the deactivated fizzler that guards it, I move it beside the fizzler near the far side white wall, run around to the other side, and pull it through the fizzler from there.

Unlike GraveNoX, once I have a portal on the far white wall, I move the near side button cube so it points through both a relay and laser catcher. Then when I move the far side cube (as above), it points the laser from the white wall through the window, second relay and near side cube, so the first two fizzlers are off and the bridge on, so I can run back around to the near side and through the portals. (And pull the far cube through the fizzler from the white wall.) The new far cube points the laser from the white wall to the far catcher, and I quickly place the near cube to redirect the laser directly to the far catcher, rather than turn it from the far cube to the catcher.

Tried these too, didnt helped me much http://imgur.com/a/FaTAJ#0

Hi GraveNox, Thanks for your play through videos! The quickly turning the cube technic you used was not an intended part of the solution. I will have to fix that. though you are on the right track with cube re-spawning. One of these days I will have to post a video so others can see what I had in mind when I created this. Though I do love the "alternate" solutions that you all have shared :)

Very very hard chamber, my #1 run (I guess it's proper solution) http://youtu.be/_Xx2D1anRH4 and #2 run: http://youtu.be/HTSV-dYoLvw

Great job. This one had me fizzled for quite a while. I did it the hard way but any way in a storm works. I did like Mood3rd. I used the cube to direct the laser at the relay while I eased past the fizzler. One at a time and a lot of F-7's got the job done. I watched one of the videos after I played and boy was I upset I didn't think of the easy way. I have been enjoying your maps and I believe you have continued to improve. They're fun. Thanks.

Thanks for your play through Tom! It is always interesting to see how others try to solve my puzzle. With that said, I have to say you definitely did the hard way. Though I am impressed! I'd have to name you solution "the way of pain" :p As you have noticed, that was not the intended solution. However, this puzzle does have more than one solution--it really cannot be helped. But it seems that all the solutions are difficult (though maybe of different degrees). In your case I think you just over thought it a bit. The solution is a bit simpler, but a little more settle. All the same I hope you enjoyed playing and once again thanks for your play through! :)

Yes, that was more of a MAD way of doing it ;)

The MAD Fool
that screenshot is exactly where I had the portal, & did the same with the laser.
but from this point I caried the cube past the fizzler, to the light bridge.
while directing the laser at the other reflector.
due to the laser coming out of the portal, so close to the wall,
I had to look at the floor, to keep the reflector in the laser.
so realigning the freflector, to keep it directing the laser to the othe reflector was guess work.
as I could not see the other reflector, while looking at the floor.

Lol. Sorry Mood, I still don't follow 100% (Also I deleted your comments-- I think you forgot to use the spoiler tag?) However it sounds like you were close to what I had in mide. At times like this I guess words and pics are just not enough. Perhapps you could post a video? (Don't sweat it if can't or don't know how.) If you are wondering-- Elfarmerino's soultion was what I basically had in mind. I wish I could add more input.
The MAD Fool  [author] 14 Apr, 2013 @ 10:49am
Hey Mood. I realy like the glass idea, so I did it. As for your solution, I don't quite follow (even with pics). But that's okay. This puzzle has more than one solution-- all of them seem to be challenging enough :)
mood3rd 11 Apr, 2013 @ 2:45pm
The MAD Fool
that was difficult.
I almost missed the panel that opens when you stand on the button, also opening briefly, when activating the laser catcher. maybe use glass to let us see this better ?
I did it the hard way:
I caried the cube back while directing the laser to the cube in the relay's area.
but the portal the laser was coming out of, was in the corner.
so I could not see where the laser was going, while crossing the fizzler.
it missed the other cube a few times while crossing the fizzler,
destroying the cube & deactivating the light bridge.
leaving me stranded.
but did it in the end :)

Yep, that was what I had in mind :)
elfarmerino 23 Jan, 2013 @ 6:40am
I solved it by getting one of the cubes over the other side and into this position:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=122334862

Had the other cube set up on the button so I could hit all the receptors, then simply went back and lifted it off the button so the fizzler would destroy the cube and it would respawn right by me. Not sure if that was intended or not, but I was satisfied with it all the same. Nice puzzle.

I've added this to my collection of Favorite Puzzle Maps . It isn't as tricky as some you'll find there, but it is rather like Jonatan's Seven Gates, only much easier.
The MAD Fool  [author] 14 Dec, 2012 @ 4:41pm
Nice use of directing lasers! Not what I had in mind (but very close though). But all the same very nice. I always love to see how others solve my puzzles :)
KennKong 13 Dec, 2012 @ 12:35pm
I doubt that this is the most elegant solution possible: LP's Fizzler Fest #2 (MAD Version)
KennKong 12 Dec, 2012 @ 3:55pm
Ah yes, that's much more like the puzzle I was expecting in the original. Getting a cube out from the area with the vertical lightbridge took me quite a while to figure out. Well done!
