I published a new mod with fully automated scoring (including site/total control) to address the broken scripts in this mod.

Scripts broke again on the scoring part at the end of the game. Please fix it

Thanks for making the change so quickly. We played last night and it worked great. :)
cryptosha  [author] 23 Jul, 2020 @ 1:28pm
update: fixed broken links, fixed scripting errors. (it's a small update, I have a desire to make a new reworked mod, but it won't be fast)
Tuscus, thank you!
Tuscus 23 Jul, 2020 @ 12:40pm
The Baenre and Mizzrym troops aren't loading - they are just tiny spheres. Getting the error message "redirected too many times."

Fantastic mod, the scripting goes a long way for ease of play.

The most recent update to Tabletop Simulator seems to have broken your point counter.

Just finished a three player game. Amazing mod! Love the scoring system. Thank you for doing this.

I have trouble downloading the assets for the blue troops. they are displayed as little blue spheres.

Finished putting it up. In case you ever feel like playing with the normal board again, here it is: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2054162963 . If you wish for me to add any more credits, please say so.
Codename: Grey Fox 8 Apr, 2020 @ 6:36pm
Alright then, thanks. Will look into doing that tomorrow.
cryptosha  [author] 8 Apr, 2020 @ 6:30pm
Codename:Grey Fox, you can upload it yourself.
Of course, it may be interesting. Thank you for making this.
Codename: Grey Fox 8 Apr, 2020 @ 6:21pm
As I said, I followed your advice and remade the map (as well as having added a few ever so slight tweaks). Do you want me to send you the mod/save to you so you can upload it under your account? Or should I upload it while referencing you? I would like to put it up on the workshop for other people that might be interested and to share it easily with my friends.
Codename: Grey Fox 8 Apr, 2020 @ 8:58am
@cryptosha. Yes, that's what I was doing. Playing in that one and importing the expansion decks from your mod. Unfortunately it does not have the script to automatically fill the market. I will follow your advice then. Thank you very much!

Codename:Grey Fox, I'm not going to make a mod with original map. An easy way is to open this .json file (located C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Mods\Workshop) with Notepad++ and replace all http://i.imgur.com/KcYGWf2.jpg links http://i.imgur.com/XKkAsmk.jpg , and fix any snap points.
Also, consider playing the predecessor of this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=881660322

Thanks for the great mod. Could you consider making a version with the original map? Os is there any easy way for me to swap the map? I'm assuming that's a no because of the way the pieces snap into place.

Snack Snarfster, I'm glad you liked it!
Take care.

Writing from milan here. I tried TTS for the first time yesterday evening and me and my group chose this game that I already own but never got the chance to try before the lockdown. I wanted to thank you for the amazing job that you did with this mod. We had a really smooth match, despite the novelty of the app for everyone and the many components to deal with(especially the ending score tool, amazing).

Mille grazie my dude

So, how difficult would it be to add custom half-decks or make a "cube" deck to play with? This game format has so much design potential I feel, and the tabletop devs seem to be done with it. The custom map is a great idea.
cryptosha  [author] 23 Jun, 2019 @ 12:20pm
Red Inferno-, Thank you for feedback.
Indeed. These changes would probably decrease the amount of time this game needs to play. (Hearts of Crown and Dominion mods come first to my mind when we speak about higher-level scripted 'deckbuilding' mods).
Ok, I will tackle this problem when I have enough time. (You may also consider making any changes to the mod if you don't want to wait for me)
Red Inferno 23 Jun, 2019 @ 12:01pm
I ask about rotating and adding space as it would increase the play space as that has been the major issue whenever I play with anyone is where to stick your cards. The cleanup is mostly just one of those things that after you start playing a bit more scripted mods it becomes very nice as to waste less time. The deck moving/reshuffling is just a nice quality of life thing for something that happens so often in a deckbuilder. The reset button clearing the scoring area would just be nice as to not have to figure out somewhere to throw everything on the scoring mat.
Red Inferno 23 Jun, 2019 @ 12:01pm
Rotating the hands to face towards the scoring section so everyone would be to the side of the board, adding in more table space(another board on both sides), adding in a play area cleanup spaces so it collects all cards and puts in your discard(either on turn end or by button press), adding deck moving and reshuffling(by button press) and clearing off the scoring area into say a bag when hitting reset although I'm not sure how viable that is.

Red Inferno-, Which kind of updates does this mod need ? Reuploaded .json file with the custom map
Red Inferno 23 Jun, 2019 @ 10:47am
Have you considered doing a few updates to the mod? A few things would streamline it a bit and I figured I would ask before I started to mess around and do it myself. Also the custom map you had listed it not hosted there anymore.

MiniUpdate: A new custom map available now. Check discussion 'New map' if you want to play it.

cryptosha, Okay great, thanks a lot!
cryptosha  [author] 16 Aug, 2017 @ 3:19pm
Cpt. FluffButt, Market script doesn't have any buttons. Every time you take a card (or a deck of cards) the script places cards on empty market spaces. Also it helps when a player make a card devoured.
If you want to see how it works, host the table (or go single player) and click Gizmo (F9), you will see script_zones. So, every time you drag a card of the big zone - script triggers.
How to setup marker (easy way): 1) put 2 decks you want to use face donw in the Market_Deck zone. 2) shuffle it. 3) take 1 card from top of the deck and move it out of the big zone (script works), then (without looking at it) put it back on the top of the Market deck.
Enjoy the game !
Cpt. FluffButt 16 Aug, 2017 @ 1:12pm
I'm not sure if its just me, but my market script does not seem to be working. I select two half decks and place them but it does not auto deal. This worked for the person I played with the first time (he was hosting). He also had notes about all the key words, but I am unsure if he created them or if they are another missing thing. Thanks in advance, especially if I'm just being dumb!

Unreal Ed, it's a modified official map. The old one has problems with balancing some starting positions. So, we stopped playing on it and made changes. 3 days ago I thought it would be a cool idea to make a script for this game, so we compiled our ideas and made both script and a new map. This new (modified) map solves some balancing problems, but not all of them.
So, we are open to discussion of making another map that will be well balanced for 2/3/4 players with no starting positions superior to the others. Also, we don't want it to be symmetrical, but encourage players to choose their starting positions based on their preferences (and which decks they choose and what positions their opponents start)
Unreal Ed 14 Aug, 2017 @ 7:19am
Did you make the map? or is it an official one?
cryptosha  [author] 14 Aug, 2017 @ 12:50am
Unreal Ed, this make sense, thank you. To be honest, my script just helps players with some parts of the game, it is not overly scripted after all.
Also, I thought how to call this mod where I have a rebalanced map (hopefully, and it will be modified more). To put changes into description was the solution I made yesterday.
Unreal Ed 13 Aug, 2017 @ 6:49pm
Your mod has exactly the same name and thumbnail as the original, which makes it impossible to tell apart from the OG in the Games menu. Since you added some scripting, why not call the mod "Tyrants of the Underdark (Scripted)"?

Plus, that should attract some extra attention.
