That's nothing to do with this mod. This mod only adds novakids to the random housing NPC generator; it doesn't touch anything else.

If it's really a bug (And not really strange random generation) you'll unfortunately have to check the other mods you have installed.

Every charactoer is thin in this game, and this guy in thumbnail picture is a fat novakid, strange.

that thumbnail for the mod looks strangely familiar to something I saw as a kid but I might just be going crazy. it looks like the Novakid's face is pasted over it but I have bad eyes so don't trust me. It just reminds me of some Disney movie I saw once.

Still works.

Novakids have villages, but not tenant villagers. This mod just added them to the collection of tenants, and gave a few other tenants (Like merchants) a chance to be Novakid as well.

I didn't know Novakid's didn't have villagers. I might have to try this mod out at some point if it still works.

Should be.

Absolute worst case scenario Starbound will crash when you come near one of the novakids npctypes I wrote, but if you reinstalled and killed them then uninstall would work again.

With that being said, I would be extremely surprised if SB didn't just clear them upon load but I haven't tested that to be sure.

I reused code from my phox mod, pre public release.
Changed the word "phox" into "novakid" and it was done. The whole mod took 20 minutes to make, including the update. :lunar2019coolpig:

Jokes on YOU, I am also, and I spent well over an hour trying to figure out why the title deed wasn't spawning novakids, until Levi popped in and used his level 20 druid powers to magically add the novakid to the spawnable race list.

Jokes on you I only build houses specifically for novakids, I only play Novakids, Ive never made a single race that wasnt glitch or novakid, (only one glitch race.) Also I'm obsessed with the wild west themed pieces

His mod seems to affect certain special tenants such as the astro tenants. This is a patch for the random tenant generation, so without racial/themed furniture.
If it causes problems let me know.

To be fair, there are novakid villages, however rare they are.
But yeah, this was Sstarswag56's idea. I just popped up the .json patches for it.

@ABlankMask you're welcome! I was thinking the same! The way I thought up this mod was quite silly, I was unaware that novakids weren't villagers and just kept placing down a deed until my friend asked what I was doing and I replied " how rare are novakid villagers? " and he went into the files and found out it wasn't possible. SO US HERE AT APERATURE MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE LESS OF AN IM!

Good gosh, this mod grew since the last time I checked up on it. :D I usually only check this one if somebody leaves a message here, and I hadn't got a message in about a month. Since then about 600 new subscribers or something like that.

Huh. I would have expected this to have been considered for vanilla implementation during 1.1x. Good catch.

For a more plain description for those looking at this mod, Novakid are not in the vanilla random tenant list when placing colony deeds, meaning you will never get a Novakid tenant unless you place the Saloon or Novakid sets. This mod adds Novakid to the random list, allowing them to spawn when no racial furniture is placed - something that SHOULD be vanilla.
