Also I looked in the comments and I did try global thing... it didn't work... does it need to be a very specific model that you need to attach to it.
"TF Letter workshop no found"
i check console and this is there:

File "<string>", line 266, in spawn_text
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'GetCamera'
As for the hierarchy, you may have intended to have the scaling controls in the middle of the letters, but it instead had it at the end. Sorry for not specifying that earlier when describing the letter jumble. ^^; If ease of scaling control access is your goal with placing it in the center, I think placing it towards the top of the hierarchy would be the best move there. Otherwise, if it's to assist positioning the letters themselves (selecting the center of the letter string as opposed to the end), then it didn't seem to work like that when I used it. Or maybe I was just selecting and manipulating it wrong. ^^;
The scene hierarchy orders the second half of the letters first and then the first half. I know it's only a slight annoyance that only requires a quick manual reorder, but I feel it should be addressed to perfect your rig script.
Also, is it possible for your rig to apply the scaling effects to the prop bone for the letter and not the root transform? Sometimes when I move the letters after adjusting the scale, the letters disappear when I move the camera. I've seen that this problem occurs when the roottransform bones are rescaled.
Thanks for hearing me out on this, and keep up the good work. :)
