How many dinosaurs can there be on the island

So........does the taming process and foods work like the original giga? I was using your old mod, and taming was giving me like 0.2 effectiveness for some reason.

Sir, thank you tremendously for your help, but nothing worked. I have however found a workaround, Simple Spawners (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1295978823) . I no longer have any issues getting your Giga to spawn naturally. I even set it up to spawn once every 24 hours to keep his rarity! I use real time speed in my game so 24 hours is actually really long.

Unstable is new so this may be beta version now. Their is also a Branch one now that maybe main. Just search ACM came right up. But, link above is the one I am subbed to. Hope that helps.

Not sure why both are spawning at same time that is odd. BestI can do is recommend an mod for admin controls that lets spawn from a menu even modded items. It is ACM I believe will add link.

Yes I am having troubles with the spawns. Well actually only sort of. Both vanilla and Pawn Gigas are spawning, but I am attempting to replace the vanilla with the Pawn one but it seems that when that happens, neither spawn. I even attempted replacing dinos that are everywhere, like Parasaurs & Trikes and still nothing spawns. So basically, either both gigas spawn, or none.

I must be misunderstanding something. I realize you have not been modding in quite a long while so I am not trying to make you do anything, just anything you know off the top of your head?

Honestly, What I have above should be right. Dev kits so out of date it would take hours to just pull up and check. Given Unreals insane load time on dev kit. Codes were copied from paths. Should be right are you having trouble spawning? If I am remembering right looking in mod folder should give file names. Basically, you are referring to file name.

So this mod seems to actually still work, BUT, I am not sure of the Dino Tag & Creature ID. Is the Tag GigantRE or GigantRE2? Is the Creature ID Gigant_Character_BPRe_C or Gigant_Character_BPRE_C?

Does this work on extinction map?

The dino seems balanced around where I'd want it. Shame it has to share spawns with other things (on The Center at least) to stop it overspawning. Thanks for all your efforts.

K, I am currently not modding ark but I will adjust the mod when I can. Maybe awhile have to update kit and get my bearing again.

Hi, being trying your mod. Playing on The Center, haven't seen a Giga yet (done a dino wipe). Mostly checking the lava island, got loads of Bronto's, Stegs, Trikes, Paracers and Gigantapithicus wandering about, numbers at presetn seem to be increasing as far as I can tell. I'll update after further testing.

Ah ok so that means we shall wait. I would like to get some sort of Giga un nerf mod because the giga is just pathetic nowadays thanks to WC twats "nerf". They dont think how the nerfs harm PVE players like me and my friends :'D

Haven't seen an up date to dev since extinction yet checked yesterday. Would need to have dev kit updated to check it out. I do plan to check it once it comes thru.

i recommend talking to the 'classic flyers' people, cuz they seem to know how to modify vanilla dinos in such a way that they don't disapear if the mod goes away. very nice.

Not sure it will most likely delete dino.

if you tame a giga from this mod and then remove the mod, will it get removed as well, or turn into a vanilla giga?

This mod remove the gigas health and damage nerf ? I have 1 with 17k hp if i tame one with this mod he goes to 80k ?

Not sure on rag untested their. If they use different spawn names it wouldn't.

Not sure on breds. WIll have to look into next time I am in dev kit falling behind on mods due to game addictions lol.

@Draco1122 Unnerfed gigas does it, and theres one more i cant think of off the top of my head. ^that too, id love too see the drag weight lowered.

It can be used to spawn one in. But, no on spawn rates. Have you used it to see if it records any in world?

Would ACM help with the spawn rates of Gigantosaurus?

Thank you for feedback on Ragnarok. Are you by any chance using ACM? It shows you all dinos in world. I found I had 3 on the center. Will think on this and see what I can do. May have to release a different version for ragnarok.

So we are using this mod on Ragnarok and we have not had any luck finding and Gigantosaurus in the scotland area where they are supposed to spawn. We have played on the sever for over 200 in game days and not a single Gigantosaurus has spawned.

I too would like to see an option to disable the rage if possible, perhaps as an ini setting that players could set to True or False as they wish? If that's not something you're gonna be doing with this mod then I understand though, no worries. Either way, this mod looks cool, and thanks for your work on it :)
