I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulties, but it's unlikely that any skin mod will cause a crash. What other mods are you using?
Nice profile avatar BTW ;)
2. Launch the game, go to Mod Manager and activate this mod.
3. Take your truck to a service center and use the Truck Configurator there. Click "Paint Job" and scroll up to the top. They're organized by price and mine cost $2400, cheaper than the default paints.

That's not to say that I couldn't add an older truck in an older livery such as the plain red CN Express: http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy211/R_Nagle/1%2025%20trucks/CN%20Ford%20C/CNFordCprototypephoto_zps4994ebc1.jpg
or Laser Intermodal livery in white with blue & red stripes as seen here: http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/chuck_hartlen.htm ,
or even a replica of this plain white FLB taken in 1997: http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/archer/ra_cn_transportation_frtlnr.jpg
Sooner or later, I actually might do just that.
