Are you sure that the save list doesn't save the order too? i mean, if i press "Load the mod list from the file" doesn't that rearrange respecting the order of the save?

I tend to think than that's the case, do your mod do something else besides that? am i missing something?

@Ninja Kitten, no idea honestly. I don't play much Rimworld anymore. But it's quite likely that it'll work fine.

Does it work with rimsaves?

Thank you for updating it. Thank you for the info as well.

@DoomBlackDragon Updated to 1.0. :)

I also took out the restriction for version numbers. Use at your own risk, as I haven't bothered testing it thoroughly. I don't think it'll have many issues, other than mods no longer being available or them not being updated. It will activate old and outdated mods if you do this.

Thank you. That would be wonderful. :)

@DoomBlackDragon I took a look if I still had the source. Turns out I was smart enough to include the source with the mod.

I could look at updating it over the weekend.

any plans to update this for 1.0?

Haven't been able to test if the mod still works. I'll try to get around to updating the mod if needed in the next few days. I'll upload the current A17 version as a separate mod as well. I wager that most people will just upgrade, so it's easier to just update this version if needed.

That's interesting... This mod only uses the built-in way to read mod orders from files, so if it's unable to read the load order of a file that's probably because the game can't do it.

I haven't tested it on 0.18 btw, I was thinking of trying to remove the HugsLib dependency so it might just keep working without needing any updates. But I'll take a look.

Wondering if it's a feature for it not to work when i try to load the order of a save with a different build of the game

You could take a look at LOOT for that, it's a mod order optimizer that draws from a centeral source, I'm not entirely sure how it works (as I don't program) only that it does.

It might be possible to at least detect conflicts between mods, but it's not really feasible to figure out how to handle every mod conflict.

Just wondering if it would be possible to implement a load order optimizer? when adding mods to a playthrough its being very finiky with the load order. thanks! keep up the good work mate!

I will do my best. It's not a particularly hard mod to keep updated, and it may not even necessarily break on updates.

Thanks EE. In fact your mod is in a way at least better than MOD-E . Yours allow to load the mod list in the save order and then allows you to modifie it after restoring.
MOD-E to my knowledge doens't allow this and launches the save game directly and it really is a problem when trying to solve mod conflict. So I hope you will keep this mod maintained for future version.

good idea just already implemented

I was completely unaware MOD-E existed when I made this. Both work. :)

MOD-E does the same thing as well but also some other stuff i think good mod though would be really helpfull if you didnt have MOD-E
