thanks for choosing the iron greatsword, it's my favorite base level weapon in the game (always loved the look and the way the impaling of the kill move looks)

That's awesome simplicity mod and perfect example how Bethesda DON'T THINK making this game or they think - we skip a lot of work creating not fully playable game and let the modders do OUR work for FREE >.< Ps. Thanks NiSiSuinegEht :KneelingBow:

I know it doesn't affect your maximum level, but it does affect the speed at which you level. The number of skill gains required to level up is determined by which skills you have levelled. If you focus on only levelling 7 skills in tandem, as opposed to 14, those 7 will have a greater impact on the rate at which you level.

yeah i havnt had a problem with this myself but i still think this is a useful mod for some people. i know the skyrim level system means training a bit with one form of weapon wont affect another, but if you want to level up on something very quickly, this is ur mod

@NightEyes I agree with the 2 handed weapon, but for the heavy armor, it is not the case. If you side with the imperials in Helgen, you won't be getting any heavy armor before either getting to riverwood or in the mine close-by, except for the iron helmet, which is just before the bear (last mob).

it is a nice mod, but with the skyrim level sistem, raising skills that you don't want doesn't really affect your performance, because the level limit is determined by all skill at 100. So increasing your skill a few points in 1handed during tutorial althought you are going to use 2handed must not be seen as a real handicap

makes good sense, i always got a bit annoyed by that also, but not anymore :)

could a bow and some arrows please get tossed in that chest I hate waiting so long to use the bow in the tutorial

If I wanted to do heavy armor and twohanders, I just let the spare followers die inside the keep.. the extra stormcloaks you meet get killed and drop weapons, or the extra imperials get killed and give you armor.

Shannie, it isn't a waste. Some people prefer to play using heavy armor. The vanila equipment forces someone to use light armor, increasing that skill during the tutorial. This gives players the choice to start leveling their heavy armor from the get go instead if gaining a rank or two in a skill they won't be using.
