Thanks again Phil, cannot believe this particular one is knocking on for nearly 7 years old now.

A cracking scenario with a shed load of AI, many thanks for this, Phil.
DPSimulation  [author] 27 Jan, 2016 @ 12:57am
Yeah, seems swapping out the 47 hasn't kept the same timings unfortunately.
ttjph 26 Jan, 2016 @ 3:20pm
Didn't have the NSE 47, so I swapped in the lovely Shap 47 instead, along with some UKTS NSE coaches. All went well until Didcot, where unfortunately I think TS2016 may have messed up the scheduling - firstly a green signal with the feather to cross over was followed by a red immediately after; and then the dispatcher wouldn't route me across after the unit had left, and made me wait for the next one to come pretty much from Oxford and then leave Didcot before it gave me the road!

Up until that point though, a very well-populated run, if not too challenging to drive.

As always, thanks for making!

Nice run
DPSimulation  [author] 5 Oct, 2015 @ 9:41am
Thanks for the comments. You are indeed correct, both of those issues are out of my control.

Fantastic scenario! AI is all period for I guess around 1995? Love The attention to detail and the AI especially. Only two things could possibly make the scenario better, and they are both issues with the game, rather than the scenario itself. First off the signs on the stations are the First colour scheme rather than network Southeast, secondly the rear carriage should have a flashing red light on the back. this really transported me back 20 years. thank you! I'd love to see more of this time period with the HST and 165/166 on the great Western main line between Paddington and Didcot/Oxford.

best regards MO
Red Viper 12 Nov, 2013 @ 3:32pm
Thanks Darren, a supurb scenario. I thought the AI was excellent: having travelled on the nearest current equivalent, it did feel just like leaving Paddington at that time of the morning for Oxford, and I do not think you can give a scenario greater praise than that.
lcrundall 25 Sep, 2013 @ 7:49am
Very nicely put together, congratulations. AI was really excellent and greatly enhanced the whole journey for me. (Not really a criticism, but the wait for timetable departure from Paddington seemed to drag on and on). [ToshSatellite with Intel 4000 low graphics]
roadrunner1975 22 Sep, 2013 @ 2:53pm
Great!Tons and tons of trains,a very well done scenario!
swannee15 6 May, 2013 @ 1:53pm
Great scenario. Loved all the AI and the realism of them all. Keep up the great work. Thanks
T3rr4h4wk 22 Apr, 2013 @ 4:13pm
Brilliant scenario. Even given the slightly limited rolling stock used it feels completely authentic for the period
rjholdcroft 19 Apr, 2013 @ 10:08am
Good run :)
Train Sim Fan 13 Apr, 2013 @ 12:28pm
Loved it :D
Elkgnu 9 Mar, 2013 @ 5:29am
Great run, loads of traffic and no problems. Nothing wrong with these older routes when scenarios like these bring them to life. Many thanks.
Sid Swindle 8 Mar, 2013 @ 1:51am
Hi DPSimulation, That was a really great scenario to operate, well planned, well constructed and the overall strategy for completing the task was great, with a considerable amount of traffic on our journey too. This gets 10 out of 10 from me and goes to my favourites list. Thanks for sharing this one. All the best to you and family. (COLIN.D.) Aberdeen , Scotland.
Oily Rag 17 Feb, 2013 @ 5:24am
'you only get red signals when leaving early as I found out' I got a couple of reds which changed to greens when I got close......must have been a speed thing.
Oily Rag 17 Feb, 2013 @ 5:22am
Very nice ride and some nice Ai trains to observe, thank you
peter.pearce 7 Feb, 2013 @ 9:35am
very nice thank you, you only get red signals when leaving early as I found out
EllE (GER) 20 Jan, 2013 @ 2:09pm
Very Nice Run - Enjoyed :)
CaseyJones24 18 Jan, 2013 @ 10:20am
Enjoyed that, thank you very much.
andy-jeff 13 Jan, 2013 @ 2:08am
Great scenario and problem free, excellent. Thanks.
DPSimulation  [author] 4 Jan, 2013 @ 1:57am
I can assure you that during testing there were no red signals. Given that the scenario is rated 5 stars and nobody else has complained of the same issue, I don't know why it is happening for you.

Did you wait for departure time at Paddington?
zarker99 3 Jan, 2013 @ 5:59pm
this could be a great scenario - i love plenty of AI. But I've barely left paddington and had to make two emergency stops as green signals are followed by red ones. This would have better to cope with if we still had the old F3 HUD which showed the next signal status.
Shame really :(
JLD95 25 Dec, 2012 @ 9:33am
Very nice scenario, thank you
bowks1 20 Dec, 2012 @ 1:30am
Like others have said, well done, great scenario!! Lots of AI traffic to look at along the way and a challenge to the hit the timetable.
Crazynick 14 Dec, 2012 @ 2:01pm
No problems playing the scenario, yes it was a very busy morning, loads of AI traffic, very interesting, kept my left thumb hovering over the (Q) alerter button, will be playing this beauty again, Thanks very much for a very entertaining 60 + mins..
brian62 13 Dec, 2012 @ 1:14pm
no problems on leaving paddington, with all of the AI makes it very real, engrossing and fulfilling this is one of the best scenario that i have done, thank you.............
william.haynes4 11 Dec, 2012 @ 3:17pm
Excellent, can you do one with 37's.47's, 50's, 66's and 70's. And everything else. Keep it up.
Brakehard 10 Dec, 2012 @ 10:26am
I enjoyed this journey, and on time throughout. Thank you!
44DENZIL44 10 Dec, 2012 @ 7:57am
This is great with plenty of traffic WELL DONE THANKS
WilliamMankelow 9 Dec, 2012 @ 11:09am
Great scenario. For some reaso I particularly enjoyed passing the the stopping service coming through the Sonning Cutting. Really enjoyed this!
wearecity 9 Dec, 2012 @ 10:11am
Doors on mine also closed at 07:47 both times I ran it. The first time I left Paddington as soon as they shut, this led to me encountering a red straight after a green 5 or 6 signals out of Paddington. The second time, I waited until 07:50 and that never happened and the scenario ran out fine.
DPSimulation  [author] 9 Dec, 2012 @ 2:04am
The consist is timetabled for a 07:50 departure and in all tests the doors remained open until the correct time.
zarker99 8 Dec, 2012 @ 3:25pm
couple of things which let this scenario down:
- I got a message saying scheduled departure was 07:50, but the guard shut the doors and gave me the all clear at 07:47.
- AI comes into paddington station quite fast, then slow right down. Would be better if you setup a go-via somewhere outside the station and dropped their performance to 50% for the paddington stop to slow their approach speeds (same for outgoing AI too).
robertheyes05 8 Dec, 2012 @ 12:06pm
Loved it! Can you do one with class 50's
wearecity 8 Dec, 2012 @ 10:47am
A nice enjoyable scenario, with no real pressure on the player, but you can still get caught out if you take your eye off the ball.
Bullet Magnet 8 Dec, 2012 @ 3:44am
A great scenario, plenty of AI to look at and a pleasure to play.
bfknox 8 Dec, 2012 @ 12:57am
A very well presented scenario
The Urban Farmer 5 Dec, 2012 @ 12:47pm
I enjoyed this scenario. Plenty of "eye candy" to go along with this run.
NEX-Rails 5 Dec, 2012 @ 12:39pm
Excellent scenario , Thanks .
modge_92 5 Dec, 2012 @ 8:50am
Thank you really enjoyed this scenario.
nwatts159 4 Dec, 2012 @ 11:23am
Very good & realistic for the era. An enjoyable run. Just wondering why nobody seems to be doing these scenarios with the class 50s?
