Would it be possible to assign a food restriction to this mod's "days left of food" counter? If I had 100 lavish meals, 300 fine meals and 500 simple meals, the counter would probably tell me I had a year or two's worth of food, but if I'm only letting my colonists eat nutrient paste and I only have 3 in storage, it's not going to be very accurate.

Problem is always, counting hay as food... When you have thousands of hay laying around, it really gives no indication.

Hey man, great mod, have a query as I often play Medieval runs, is there a way to have a similar notification system for remaining wood/coal as fuel?

Most definitely this. I counted the unfortunate souls working as batteries, and the final tally is at 83 prisoners when those guys are included.

Actually, it might technically be right, but also sort of a false estimate. I only have 34 colonists and 47 prisoners, but I do use the Bio Reactor mod, which contains a lot of prisoners, so a grand total of 80 is not impossible. They're not on my normal lists, but possibly in the database that this mod gets its data from.

Strange, it seems to think you have 116 prisoners and colonists. I count 33 or so colonists. Unless you have like 80 prisoners hanging around, something's funky.

There you go. The notification has always been there since I installed the mod, never vanished, even when I had ample food supplies. I personally don't mind that, though, I like having a reminder to keep an eye on my food stocks, since I have a tendency to forget them, it has just always told me I have a decent amount of food, no matter if I have sufficient food or facing starvation.

This is a very friendly complaint, though, I freaking love your mods. Numbers is possibly my #1 favorite altogether. The game is virtually unplayable for me without that one. :)

Got a screen shot? Food Reserves message is designed to vanish when the low food alert pops up.

Love this in theory, but I'm starting to question the algorithms in it. I've steadily gone from 13 days of food left (That is a decent amount) to 1 days of food left (That is a decent amount). I dare say that the latter is not. :)

IIRC it waits until the third in-game day before it pops up.

Same behaviour with vanilla, actually.

I agree with green bastard about removing kibble from the list. I have nutritious kibble installed as well, and it REALLY skews the numbers...

is there an option to turn off kibbles as being viable food reported to this mod? it really messes up the numbers when i get a farm going.
