Mhm, I do drawings and whatnot before even attempting to build my ships, and they can still take days to weeks to make.

I sure would love the amount of detail you can put into small block though, guess it might not be so bad to maybe use a projector to outline my large block ships with small blocks and make refinements, but thats some dedication that I just dont have. I like my ships to have some practicality, but that would just be too crazy to use, bragging rights for sure, props to you!

@Commander Rotal. the physics count is around 50000. when the world first loads in, you can only see some parts of the structure, so it takes about 30s to buffer and load in the entire ship.

Just how on Earthlike does that World even load anymore? What's the Physical Shapes number on that? How do you do that? Is it hacks? Mods? Voodoo? TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!

Hey everyone. to those who are following this build. I come with an update. you can see it in the latest pic that I have uploaded.

The Framework for the stardrive section is done. I'm now busy constructing the saucer. which is gonna take some time since it has much more square footage then the stardrive section.

here's an update. i've had some setbacks, but i'm making progress. i'm almost done with laying the framework for the stardrive section. after which i'll continue working on the saucer section.
i've also split the three sections into three seperate worlds to ease the strain on my hardware.

The supersize mod fits snug, so does the thin armor blocks.

i haven't gotten around to testing it yet. but i hope it does.

also does the explosive bolt still work?

i did and i think the devs should make it into the base game but make it so that we can still use our old ships just fine

@JWA. would the collision of the block be the same as a fullsize block or would it fit snug around the thin armor?

Well the thin armor mod gives a 5x5x1 plate which is great for walls and floors, but there are other mods that do the same.

i find this amazing because i was hoping to take on this exact project myself. but seeing as you are doing such i goo job with it, ill just stand by and see how your Galaxy class Enterprise turns out. I am a HUGE fan of Star Trek next generation. I hope to see this ship complete and ready to cruise the galkaxy. Maximum warp inson ENGAGE ^_^

@JWA i can see how the supersize mod would be of use, but i'm unsure of the thin armor mod.

So two suggestions for this: The thin armor mod and the supersize mod. With the first you could fill in floors, walls, etc without adding tons of extra blocks. With the latter, you have access to large grid blocks on the small grid, which would allow you to build much faster for a lower block count. Very impressive regardless.

@macpherson_07 i don't have an exact date, but it could be a few more months at least.
@jedisalamander tell that to commader Rotal, they made it first but in large block. i'm just doing a more detailed one.
