I noticed, that this voice pack does not obey audio/volume settings. I had turned everything very low, but my guy with the male Shepard voice was not affected (every other unit was quieter)

nvm, answering my own question below: Set the Language to "none" and the voices should stop being assigned to random soldiers. At least, that's what the good guys on Reddit said...

Two things: (1) can we exclude the voices from random soldiers? I find it ... jarring to get a random resistance fighter whose voice sounds like Shepard. And (2) MaleShep sounds louder than FemShep; can you make FemShep louder?

The new official launcher is doing this to alot of mods. Use the Alternate Mod Launcher instead

I don't see how this would ruin save files? It's a voice pack, meaning it's a customization mod, there shouldn't be any conflicts that would potentially ruin your game. I haven't checked if the current version would work with vanilla, I suppose you could try them yourself.

On the volume thing, I think that the Cues need to be set as Voice, otherwise they'll be played at Master volume and swamp everything else.

1. Go into XComContent.ini
2. Make three copies of +BodyPartTemplateConfig of one soldier.
3. To each new +BodyPartTemplateConfig add CharacterTemplate="ReaperSoldier" for the Reaper, CharacterTemplate="SkirmisherSoldier" for the Skirmisher and last one add CharacterTemplate="TemplarSoldier" for the Templar. Order doesn't matter.
4. Add localization lines in XComGame.int for new voice packs.
5. ???
6. Profit!

I was just coming in to report that Male and Female shepard both are really loud compared to other voice files, but I see people have already jumped on that.

It's a little too intense to be honost. I found it very tiring on lost missions where one of my soilders is constantly screaming Move move move and yelling as if intense battle. It's just the lost lol... Femshep to be specific. it's also still a a good bit louder than every other soilder. Which is also very annoying.

maybe Male shep's voice cues have been left at master and not set to voice in the UDK? That could be one cause of it.

Gonna second the comments saying that Male Shepard's voice is ear-shatteringly loud; female Shepard is fine, though.

Hmmm... I tested it multiple times and so far I didn't notice a volume difference between vanilla and my voice packs.

it shows as incompatable, however it does work fine. its working fine with new classes and everything, but is it possible to have the male shepard turned down a little? he is earshattering compared to all the other voices, and femshep included

that gets fixed, and this is by far my favourite shepard voicepack

Bondmate abilities have 'Inspire' voice cues, which already has been added. And yes, they're compatible with new classes.

The only new lines of dialogue for the standard voicesets I've noticed in WotC, are when you activate the bond mate abilities. Perhaps the launcher picks up on those few missing entries?

I added compatibility with all new WotC classes. You can use it with Reaper, Skirmisher and Templar classes.
