Bug found and it's not your asset. There was something wrong with Fine Road tools and it kept claiming it was on when it was not. Thank you for not simply copy and pasting a response this time. Based on your response, I went through and logged all of my assets and mods, then turned off everything but Klytes fine road tools and anarchy (Again). It looks like the 'distance too short' is because of a recent update and only solved by Klytes fine road tools. It also looks like some other mod was triggering a reversion or shut off and it was not apparent. My best guess is that somewhere between versions 2.0.1 and 2.0.4, there was a conflict with another mod that evaded the black box testing.
To be clear: This currently works with: Klytes Fine Road Anarchy 2.0.2 & Klytes Fine Road Tool 2.0.4 but may have trouble if some other mod is turned on. If I figure out that it has an additional conflict, I'll let you know.

Myself or others cant replicate the issue you mentioned so I'm not sure how to provide more info that I had already given. Make sure Fine Road 2 (Not original one as new version is out) AND Road Anarchy 2 (same deal) is enabled on mod manager, then they are both active in the game.

Aside these, there's no other solution I can provide as error can't be replicated. These are simple meshes with pedestrian path inside so there's nothing revolutionary happening here that requires X Y amounts of mods. just 2 mods mentioned.

Would love some input REV0. Just can't get your asset to plop even with fine road anarchy turned on. Game will not allow it to seat at all. Yes, I reviewed your suggestions. I tried it as suggested by your previous posts, wouldn't say anything unless I had exhausted my options. I don't post this on a whim. Ideas? Would love to use your asset(s).

Assets are tested and confirmed still functional as of September 6, 2020. Tested on a fully modded game, with listed mods enabled, as well as additional mods such as Electrix Road Tools, thus there's no incompatibility with current game nor DLC versions.

Distance too short error is not asset breaking error, it doesnt refrain assets being plopped, just like slope too steep error, in case Anarchy mod enabled. Electrix Road Tools mod even have an additionnal option which disables such errors as they are annoying but not asset breaking.

As of July 2020, asset is not working (see installed DLC below). Made sure that I have both Fine Road Anarchy and Fine Road Tools.Carefully read required mods. It looks like the steep path that REV0 uses now triggers a new error of "Distance too short!" on recent updates. I removed all other mods to check, and various combinations, still no luck. When I alter this asset so the path is longer, it works, but defeats the concept. Would love to use this asset if it gets fixed for those that have Sunset Harbor, Mass Transit, Deluxe Edition and the Architecture Artbook installed. Also checked multiple REVO elevator versions.

what anarchy mod should i use

REV0  [author] 4 Sep, 2017 @ 7:41am
Error shooting>

Cims dont use it: Make sure you made tunnels and they are connected. I am using in my own and they are all functional.

Slope too steep and/or distance too short: Enable Road Anachy by pressing ctrl a. To do this you need to subscribe 2 mods as I listed.

I also get slope too steep when placing - am I missing something? I've tried ti on perfectly flat terrain. Would love to get these working, they look amazing!

this plop is awesome. but citizens not use it. what's the problem?
demfrevr 30 Aug, 2017 @ 2:19am
help I don't know exactly what to do to use it. Do I need to make a tunnel first. When I try to plop one down, it says slope too steep.

This is awesome thank you for your hard work!
MrMiyagi 26 Aug, 2017 @ 8:42am
This is fantastic. I've not been building ped tunnels in general. This makes them look real and attractive!

@AquilaSol Soon, as I get my degree of Engineering lol
AquilaSol 26 Aug, 2017 @ 12:44am
@REV0 Aww, I was hoping you'd invented wheelchairs with jetpacks. 😂
REV0  [author] 26 Aug, 2017 @ 12:38am
@AquilaSol Needed to hide pedestrian paths :))
AquilaSol 26 Aug, 2017 @ 12:31am
Awesome! Perfect to represent access to an underground parking garage(even if there isn't one, lol) as well! :D
I've got to ask, though.... Why is the wheelchair ramp in front of the stairs, and the curb in front of the lift doors? x'D Shouldn't it be the other way around? :p

Gotchya! Turns out I was using an outdated road anarchy mod, this recommended one behaves much better. This asset is incredible. I placed a small loop of underground path around a 4 way intersection that acts as a bus/tram hub and sits next to a ferry for a busy downtown area and 90% of the ped traffic clogging up the crosswalks is gone aside from the people going to/from the median for the trams.
Zedlectric 25 Aug, 2017 @ 4:11pm
Been looking for something like this for a long time, goodbye to tunnel ramps.
REV0  [author] 25 Aug, 2017 @ 2:44pm
You only need 2 mods listed.
Enable Anarchy by pressing Ctrl A and plop it. It might look red as "unploppable" but it actually plops just fine. Red error is distance related thing, since I squeezed ped path in 1 tile.
MyInternetBroke 25 Aug, 2017 @ 2:41pm
Saw this on Reddit and subbed. Seems I can't actually place them anywhere. Is this meant to be used only with modular subway stations project or can it work in the native version somehow? Not looking to embark on an entire subterranean modpack, but I desperately need something to make pedestrian bridges/tunnels work without taking up huge amounts of space.
PSYNOMAD 25 Aug, 2017 @ 1:52am
Thanks REVO no more ugly tunnels.
BoxHead 24 Aug, 2017 @ 4:31am
Really cool idea mate. Thank you for sharing. :)
