I checked the game's code and nothing has changed about pet hunger since the creation of this mod, I also tested the mod to be sure and it still works the same as always. If the mod stopped working for you then you must have installed another mod that either changes the same tuning value as this mod or changes the code for pets.

I am also unable to replicate a crash by feeding a pet food and then entering/exiting caves with hunger set to infinite.

This mod is very simple, it just gives you the ability to adjust a setting that already exists in the game. The mod won't stop working unless Klei decides to remove this setting and it won't cause any bugs because it doesn't add any new code to the game.

Comment from 2023 - Yes, it still works. However, it seems like if you set the hunger to infinity (never hungry) and still feed it a food, your server would crash when you enter/exit the cave. And it gets worse from there, soon you would not be able to even launch the server at all. I am not 100% sure if it is caused by this, but if your server crashed, try disable this mod.

I think probably was a tiny bug from the update about the preset (Maybe affect the mods too?), but since Klei make the recently HotFix, the Critters are not asking for food after 2 o 3 days later. Specially Glom Glom that pet cry like a demon. So all is normal :3

I just tested the mod and it's working as usual for me. Are you hosting the server that you are playing on? Only the server host can enable the mod. Or did you recently install any mods that change the pets somehow?

Is anyone else having issues with the mod since the new update?

Is possible this mod is not working anymore? since the new recent update. I having a pet (Glom, Glom) and the pet is not stopping crying every moment.

I just tested it thoroughly and it does work for the mothling. It extends both the hunger time and the light buff.

Keep in mind that this mod only works if you are the one hosting the server. If you set the hunger time to "infinite" it's possible that you have to feed the pet once before it'll stop complaining, but after that you should never hear it again.

Oh lol, Good mod though I played it and once I gor my kittykit it was helpful not heaing there annyoying hunger noise when I knew they were hungry.

if you don't want them to be hungry, just feed them like a twig or something.

Why I always think the pets are so trouble when you plant crops because it will take up some spase so that the twigs aren't neat.But this mod still a wonderful one.
