Im fairly sure the sound doesnt stop when you stop, because it replaces your character breathing sound, not the running sound. That is why it persists after you stop running for a while, and takes a bit of running to start up. Also, holding your breath while ADS resets it.

This mod is so amazing! The only problem I have is the occasional frame drops it causes. Other than that, this mod makes me play a million times better.

would be 10/10 if it stopped playing when you stopped running, I find it annoying trying to creep around and listen for enemy footsteps while its still playing
