There has been no sub fee for a while now.
So, massive case of 'not sure if applies to present continuity'.
but good mod at least your doing something.
i have enjoy all the Elder Scrolls games
And just so you all know, Elder scrolls online has been in production since oblivion, if it was really going to kill the elder scrolls series Skyrim wouldn't exist.
Ultima was a single player game... Ultima-Online was -great- for it's time... Minus the campers.
The Star Wars MMOs weren't absolute crap. The first one flubbed because it was changed after development and was butchered -then.- And SW:TOR's only downfall was the lack of endgame content.
So, no. Not every single MMO ruins a single player franchise. - Elder Scrolls Online exists. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's not going to happen.
That's like saying the LotR movies don't exist because they didn't follow the book word for word.
It's a spin off and, I believe, they said it was not canonical with the current lore. It's a spin off.
@zhaythorn: If it existed, which as previously mentioned it does not, it would be set several hundred years before the series that does exist takes place, during the Second Era. TES 1-4 take place in the Third Era and Skyrim takes place in the Fourth.
Also the recent announcement about The Elder Scrolls Anthology for PC does not mean the end of the Elder Scrolls series:

We got nothing to worry about ;)
