@Guedez oh i know, but i still prefer the mechanic from this mod where you have to clean and or fix cybernetics you remove, feels more balanced :)

i second that, i love this mod, it's awesome to be able to remove cybernetics from corpses and then clean them or repair them
There is Harvest Organs Post Mortem but not a fan of that style, i prefer 100% chance to get the cybernetic i want and then have to clean and even fix the cybernetics, as opposed to having a dice roll to get random anythings from the corpse

I've been using this mod for a bit now and i was wondering if we could get the option to whitelist parts. I am trying to reclaim some organic enhancements i put in a colonist and it wont let me because the item is considered to not be a prosthetic. so if that possible or am i stuck with it in them?

update: i fixed it by puting in your mod conf, so mangled parts can only happen in the range 1%to50%, so the parts that have body health to 0 are consider "harvested"

i have a bug that when i try to raclaim a part, for example a love enchancer, and the body health its at 0, my pawns will try to extract the love enchancer, but it will always fail (lvl 20 medic and 20 crafting with lots of bionic upgrades)

@Grey - to quote my FAQ on harvesting:


I cannot harvest part XYZ - why is that?
The harvesting recipes will only touch/use corpses up to the level of complexity of the job. Meaning a 'Harvest primitive' job will only use a corpse that contains (at most) Peg Legs (or similar), a 'Harvest advanced' job will touch corpses with Prostetics (or simpler), and a 'Harvest Glittertech' will touch any corpse.
If you are unsure, what level of harvesting you need for a corpse, click the 'I' symbol of the corpse in the bottom left. It will list a 'Max. Complexity' stat in the listing ..
If you still can't harvest a part, make sure it's not too destroyed . The default settings for the mod allow reclaiming a part with 50% hitpoints (or more) in that part. If the part health is below that, it's considered non harvestable. That range can be changed in the settings.

Also - you cannot harvest from rotten corpses . So stock things in the freezer if you want to grab stuff.

I'm trying to extract bionics from a raider (i.e. they have a bionic arm) - however, whenever I use the bench to extract the implant, it states that I am missing materials? The colonist with this job is not restricted in where it can go, the bill is the default one (i.e. no "Only a colonist of a certain level of Medicine can do this job"), and the raider is like 10 feet away in the next room (which is not locked). What material am I missing?

I tried to harvest my completely decked-out android supersoldier. A total of 30 implants. Bionics, synthetic organs, brain implants, everything. He died non-violently (after his mind was uploaded to the cloud), so his body was completely healthy and intact. I used glitterworld medicine, my lvl 20 bionic doctor, in a well-lit sterile hospital.

- All that was harvested was a non-sterile aesthetic nose and a love enhancer. Couldn't believe it, reloaded the save, tried again. Now I only got the love enhancer.

Something is not right here.

getting a bug where when i try to place either the harvesting or refurbishing tables, it only shows up red while part of the tables are on top of some other building like normal, but it doesn't show up at all if the tables aren't overlapping another building

Thank you for updating this, I haven't run it yet but noticed its been updated. This to me is one of those need to have mods... one of my poor pawns has no eyes and a leg missing...they are the doctor!!!

Well.. this took quite a bit longer than I'd hoped to both find the time and the underlying issues why things didn't want to work, but yes "1.1" :steamhappy:

Yes, it is finally done. God this one was finicky.

I'm, aware that this is not yet on 1.1. There have been some unexpected effects after updating things for 1.1.

Exactly. If i look on my body dump i see a lot of pawns with implants. Only royality pawns dissapear.
So a 1.1 Update which would let me scavenge those corpses would be very nice even if i cant get the stuff from royality pawns.

Maybee update the mod for the non royality pawns and release it so the mod can be used while a way is beeing searched to make it useable on royality pawns?

Um, I think youve deleted or moved your page for this mod version 1.5.0.181. I only added it yesterday and ive just had to clear down my mod list to try to troubleshoot a problem and this is the one mod I cannot unsubscribe from whatever im trying. Is there anyway you could put the page back temporarily so I can unsubscribe ? Thanks

This is going to be updated for 1.1, but it needs a bit more work.

Currently pawns who die just disappear (and throw an error). That kinda defeats the whole purpose of this mod :steamfacepalm:

This mod brings to my game/colony what fine chocolate brings in real life. I.e. pure satisfaction :p
